I read that the most was 6 months. I have been flagged and the investigation is over. I am just waiting to talk to the BC but I have passed my DEROS date by two months and they just put in another IFSTE. Once the BC talks to me will I be able to get my old orders back?

They can only put you on the same orders if they had the same report date, which they don't because you passed the previous report date.
If you reenlisted for a specific assignment, were investigated, cleared of the investigation, found at no fault and the commander will write a memo stating that you were never at fault and should have never been flagged - then you can request your previous location again. It won't be the same orders and probably won't be the same unit. If you are able to renegotiate it, you will be limited to what the Army has with report dates close to your current DEROS.
If your investigation closed unfavorably, you were found at fault or punished in any way, even a suspended sentence, you will have to work your assignment through your branch manager

So what is this in reference to? Flagged Soldiers will comply with assignment instructions if the following applies:

The flag remains in place because Soldier is undergoing punishment based on a court-martial, civilian criminal trial, or nonjudicial proceedings under UCMJ, ART 15, and the punishment or sentence does not include confinement, restraint, or geographical travel restrictions imposed by civilian courts as a condition of parole, probation, or suspended sentence.

SPC (Join to see) generally if you're citing a reference, you cite where the reference came from, we are not mind readers to know whatever context you're referring to.

Fortunately, I think I know what you're asking. When you go into the punishment phase of the flag you are eligible to move. However, the first part of being flagged, the investigation and adverse action, is what causes you to be removed from orders.

Once flagged, you will lose the orders you were presently on. It will take an act of god to get them back. You will most likely be put as needs of the army

I am still on assignment for my next duty station with the orders in place and they have not been scrapped. If the next IFSTE goes through what will happen with my orders?

The IFSTE does not protest they assignment. If you are in the adverse action phase then the orders will stay, once you move to the punishment phase, that’s when the orders will be pulled SPC (Join to see)

I am under a commanders investigation flag right now. The punishment I will be receiving is 7 days extra duty and this will not require me to enter into the punishment phase because it has to be longer than a month to receive a punishment phase flag. "Commanders will initiate a “Punishment Phase” Flag when the punishment period is 1month or longer and will remove the “Adverse Action” Flag the same day unless additional adverse action is pending.
