If you can get into unit supply, look for a school house unit. Major training centers probably have units that are dedicated to operating the school. The instructors are often assigned to these units along with training technicians who maintain the training equipment They need supply people also. They probably never go to the field. Ft Lee, Ft Rucker, and Ft Benning, come to mind.

Lt Col Jim Coe I’m wondering if it would be a good decision to try and switch to 92Y with trying to go G2G ADO in 2024

Germany, Hawaii, Italy are the best options for me, CONUS Ft Carson is not bad, but avoid NTC, Ft Polk or Ft Drum...

In your opinion, what are the best duty locations?

You don't get to pick your follow on when you reclass, a person at retention branch picks an assignment with a report date that most closely matches your graduation date.

If you're going to submit for green to gold don't waste your time reclassing.

SPC(P) James Baldwin you don't need to reclass for that. You need to concentrate on getting the 60 SH of college credit for ADO and making yourself competitive. There are about 400 ADO slots a year, you need to set yourself apart from your peers by getting promoted, doing boards, and getting a high GPA. Don't half ass two things, whole ass one

If you don't like the field and want to go overseas, try for LRMC since it's a TDA unit. The only "field time" I saw when I was there was when we went to the range.

I believe if you reclass you'll become needs of the Army. You won't be able to choose your duty station.

SPC(P) James Baldwin I reenlisted for JBER and I've heard great things about Alaska. Apparently it's a ton to do if you like the outdoors. I'm really looking forward to the location and training.
