Why don't we leave medical diagnosing to doctors. Contrary to popular belief, what you think after reading something on webMD doesn't make it so.

SPC Zach Fry - I don't doubt that it can, guy, you said that "[you] think" that you have some ailment... That doesn't make it so. Until defined as such there is nothing to be DQ'd for. How about you go to a real life doctor instead of google, get a for-sure diagnosis, and there may be a question afterall as to your suitability for service. Wasting time with "what if's" is just stupid.

Medical Conditions That May Prevent You From Joining the Military
These standards generally apply to all branches of the military. None of them are automatic disqualifiers, just red flags.

SFC Joseph Weber
SGT Joseph Gunderson - SPC Zach Fry I didn't read the entire article. Did it mention Hypochondria under mental disorders?

So in the event the doc at MEPS determines you have it- and yes people get DQ’d for sweaty palms all the time- chances are they will either A) send you out for a consult to get additional information. If you haven’t been formally diagnosed with it they will likely want to get info specific to you. B) they will tell the respective branch you are processing for to request a waiver.
