Is it possible to reclass, as a warrant to a different MOS?

Each warrant MOS dictates it's own prerequisites.
Warrant MOSs don't do Reclass. Reclass is essentially being told you had a new MOS and you will attend the training on a certain date.
Warrant MOS is being told you meet the prerequisites of a certain MOS and you are being allowed to attend training.
So, unless you are applying to a warrant MOS that currently accepts warrants, there is no Reclass. Alternately you can resign your commission and Reclass as an enlisted soldier.

Only warrant reclass I saw was a medically DQed Chinook Pilot they made a Mobility Warrant.

Based on 26 years of old experience seeing deep in the regulations that you can reclass a helicopter repair specialist to a wheel vehicle mechanic and that commissioned officers i’m Sure there’s some way a warrant can change specialization. Flight from a maintenance mos would be my first clue. Hopefully some CWs that are SME can clairify further!

Yes is the answer, if you are in the Guard or Reserves it is easier. Our class leader at WOBC cross branched as a new CW3 from intell to food service. One of the mentors from the food program out of Kansas and been a 913, then 915 and then 922

Yes, In limited circumstances Warrant officers CAN reclass. It requires the submission of a new packet. One of the more common reclass scenarios I have seen is 948B (Electronic Systems Maintenance WO) to 170A (Electronic Warfare Technician). Other reclass situations are a case by case basis and the applicant is still required to provide proof of tactical and technical profeciency and satisy branch requirements.

You can submit a flight packet, same as everyone one does. I’ve seen LTs and CPTs design and go fly, I’ve also seen a few (key word is few) WOs come over to this side. Best thing you can do is contact a WO recruiter or talk to branch.

MR Martinez regardless of the MOS you’re assigned as your basic branch be sure to learn all you can graduate and the rest of your warrant career will fall into place! I had an AirForce NCO that reported to my Maintenance Company as a WOC made it thru WOC was appointed a W-1 but failed his basic course. I had to help process his paperwork reverting him back into the Air Force Reserve. Good luck in your future endeavors and do your best!
