I have been having a lot of issues with my unit and it's become to the point of a hostel work environment. I have been diagnosed with anxiety and depression and coming to work every day is just making it worse.

This needs to be addressed by the COC. If the COC is the problem then go to the next level. Maybe you arent the only one in the unit that are having these issues. It needs to be addressed by the people that can affect change. I can guarantee that if you even try to submit any paperwork like a 4187 requesting a transfer, that this wont make it off of the 1SG's desk if he isn't aware of the issue or hasn't been able to even address the issue. COC is your first stop to address this. Good luck to you. Oh before you go straight to the command, ensure you first line supervisor is aware of the issue as well. Unless they are the issue, then take it to your 1SG.

The you go to your BN, there is always one step above. this is a COC issue, you will not be moved just because you do not like it. If your BN will not address it, you go to the BDE. Im telling you as a former IG, if you go to the IG, the very first thing they will ask is if you have addressed the issue with the COC.

It sounds like what you need to speak to your COC and or higher. If you have these issues diagnosed, I hope you are seeking professional assistance.

Based on comments in your responses, there may be some misunderstanding. Unfortunately this is common when info flows down thru the levels. Company can't cancel your MEB. That could only come from providers. My bet is that in addition to the MEB, they are initiating separation procedures, so that when the files hit the CGs desk, he has all the information needed to determine the best COA. Dual MEB/UCMJ packets are common when, at the end of the day, it is clear that continued military service is not advisable. Don't panic (no pun intended). Inquire about these things at your next BH appt.

Thank you sir. A lot of this is BS and now they are hitting me with chapter 14 and this is only my first article 15. I have also recently filed a confirmed EO case against my first line supervisor and it will be taken care of tomorrow but I am worried how this will make me look towards the unit and the command and the chapter

SPC(P) (Join to see) If you don't understand what's going on in the process, and you are hesitant to use the open door policy, I would suggest talking to your chaplain. At a minimum, he can get the facts from the CSM and help relay things accurately. As a chaplain myself, I am happy to help ensure Soldiers understand their situation and advise what they may be able to do.

CH (CPT) (Join to see) thanks sir just really scared cause my unit feels like I'm not a good soldier cause I'm always at appointments and I'm being med boarded after only a year and a half of active duty time. But I have guard and reserve time as well. They have tolde that they think I'm faking my med board

My final comment about this is, if you go to IG, they will only look at the process. They will not and cannot make a decision about your predicament, that is for the command. If they find nothing was done inappropriately by your command they will close your case and let the command handle it as they see fit. Unfortunately in your situation, if you refuse to use your COC up to the highest levels, your command will do whatever they want to do. I dont know enough of your situation to even begin to help you, however, this may be the sort of thing you thought of, BEFORE you found yourself in this situation. Nobody here can help you. We can only point you in the right direction. You have gotten a lot of good advice, but if you do not want to take it, be prepared to accept whatever fate comes your way. The only thing i caution you about if you choose to go higher, you BETTER have proof that what you say is correct. You may find yourself in even more hot water, if your accusations of a hostile environment are unsubstantiated. I wish you all the luck in the world, but once again, the only ones that can help you are your COC at all levels. How can they fix anything if they don't know about it? You may be helping others as well, and not just yourself.
