1LT Sandy Annala You are speaking of our fly-able aircraft? Once we are at 80% + availability, with enough pilots and much fewer maintenance issues; they we can worry about pretty!

Who is going to pay for it?

SSG Pete Fleming - Well . . . this could be a labor of love by the ground crew. Or I suspect it may be just as cheap as the standard manufacturer subdued green / grey, or the standard camouflage aircraft livery. Then again, I can certainly think of quite a few individuals and small business shops that are women / minority owned or situated in an economically disadvantaged area who would be proud to offer you an exceptional quality original or conversion paint job for few pennies on the dollar . . . and provide some unassailable armed security for the aircraft while performing the upgraded livery / paint job. PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - In some instances ( e.g. Benghazi ) the goal is to scare the dickens out of the opposition ground troops . . . so they disappear back into the hillsides without a fight . . . in these situations camouflage may be counter productive. Sandy
