He has tenacity! He is not very tactful! He is TRUMP!!! He has said his mind from day 1. He cannot be hushed by the big wigs of the devided politics. If he wants he will go independent and has the money to do it. I think he is a threat. He is a wrecking ball for this underground political empire that has been slowing building in our country. I need to see his ability to conduct himself as a political symbol and not a reality TV host before I make my decision. What's your thoughts on him?

Trump is a joke, that no one's laughing at if you're running for office. Trump only recognizes Trump. In his case now, he's playing the field for what it is; a bunch of typical career politicians and losers hoping to win the presidency. He knows he can say whatever he wants and they either can't come back to him on his level, or they'll call him as ASK if he could "tone it down". He knows he has a snowballs chance in hell of winning the presidency, but what he can and will win is more name recognition for his name and brand. That for him is winning. Trump doesn't know anything, but he knows money very well. As a president (should he be elected), if you think we've had it bad over the last 16years, they'll pale in comparison to what will happen with him. I saw a joke about if he won, the white house would have TRUMP in 30ft gold letters on top of it. Knowing the limited amount of information I do about him, I'd believe it. I admire his arrogance, but if I was going to vote for someone just off that, I'd vote for Biden, and that's not saying much.

What I like about trump is he has no political ties and affiliations, secondly he stands in the best position to have the congress limit the powers of the executive office and actually restore the balance of powers as written in the constitution. Both of those are in short supply today.

No, have you ever seen how poorly he handles Twitter arguments, how well is he going to handle a debate against real politicians? He cannot name call in a real debate

My thoughts are that the Republican establishment AND the media will conspire to ensure Trump does NOT get the Republican nomination. If this sounds far fetched, consider what was done to Ron Paul in the last Republican primary by the Party, The liberal media, AND Fox News.http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=5ouBoyu9gGY

I agree. he is a threat to both parties. He needs to dig in and show that he means business. He talks a good game, but he also likes to talk especially in front of a camera. If he can show real concern for the veterans and display the character that makes people want to see in office, then he stands a good chance of being the POTUS.

I doubt it. He's entertaining, but not much else. He's a celebrity. Fun to look at, to point at and talk about, but electing him makes as much sense as electing a Kardashain..

That's the scary part! America has the attention span of a dumb ass ant. Don't get me wrong I love my country, but all those reasons are reasons why he might get elected.

I don't mind the lack of tact. He's over the top irreverent which is not presidential. To get anything done with congress you have to have a level of tact and diplomacy, he'd clearly fail.

Donald Trump in my opinion, needs to be taken seriously. As a Republican myself, if the RNC does not take care, they will run him into an independent bid for the presidency. What does this mean for the GOP? No White House.

He is a man to be reckoned with. He does stand an equal chance to be nominated. Trump needs to be allowed to sink, or swim in the primaries. Just because people have catty remarks, does not change the destiny of what is going to happen.

What I am hoping for in the first round of debates, the top three in the debates will thin out the crowd. Trump, during these debates will say what a lot of Americans are saying, but, unable to say because of some politician shutting them down, or afraid of the adversities that can happen.

We need a man who can hand it out as well as take it. Neither of the common politician can take it, so they hand it out under the veil of politics. Trump has done more good in the short time he has been there because he is exposing what the people has thought for so long.

One part of me tells me that he will be the next POTUS and one part is saying Hillary will be the POTUS. Everything hinges on what the RNC does.

the Republican Party has let us down we gave them the House and Senate to stop Obama that hasn't happened the Republican party better get back to their base like closing our borders not spying on Americans not covering up Benghazi yes if Donald Trump does go independent and a lot of boats goes his way maybe that will send a message to the Republican Party they better wake up now before that happens

The basic reason why the Republicans have not done anything, is because they are owned by the lobbyists who line their pockets.

The Republicans had that lesson before when Ross Perot ran. Perot walked away with 19-20% of the votes. This left Clinton in the White House. We are facing the same thing today. The RNC needs to leave Trump well enough alone. Let Trump make his own bed and if he makes it all the way, every Republican needs to ccast their vote for him. If he goes Independent, Hillary will have the White House.

I don't much care for him or Hillary. My preference at this point is toward Rubio however I'm not confident he'll be the republican candidate when it comes down to the actual election. If it does come down to Clinton and Trump I will vote for Trump though as I trust him more than I trust her in a leadership role.
