It is sometimes claimed that there is little difference between nationalism and racism. What is your opinion?

The anti-Nationalists movement is using the word, nationalism, as a pejorative. They, the anti-nationalist left and globalist RINOs, are hoping for globalism, open borders and a loss of national sovereignty. It has to do with national identity, not race. Like SN Greg Wright said, hyperbole.

Jimmy carter's dept of education has been promoting this claptrap in public schools since 1980. It's easy to prove with rational thinking, just listen to any news or sports cast from the dawn of radio compared to today's celebrities. They have been dumbing down the people to the point they have no identity, but the collective. And the collective will violently attack anyone who isn't like them.

Hyperbole. You can love your country without being racist. There are nationalists of all races.

Interesting comment from some ivory castle guy born in 1979. My father was born in 1922, and served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during WWII, and the fathers and mothers of many, many other RP members also served in the various branches of American and Allied forces during that time period. I can promise you, SSG Shavonde Chase, that was not my father's definition of nationalism, and likely not that of the others either. Time and events allow for different perspectives. But for the efforts and sacrifices of all those during the time of my father, Peter Joseph might not be allowed to have his interesting although erroneous perspective.
