If you know me personally, please keep this one on the down-low list until after today, for I am still trying to tel everyone and let everyone know.
I just figured I would drop this little new off with ya'll. My wife and I are expecting our first baby on Thanksgiving day this year. We just went to the doctor this morning and found out that we are going to have a little baby girl! I can't keep this kind of excitement in. I don't know how her and I thought we were going to keep it a secret for a long while!

Congratulations! My Oldest just turned 32 yesterday and he is expecting a new daughter in Sept. Being a Dad is Cool. Being a Grandpa is even better.

My granny-in-laws had a bumper sticker a few years back: if I knew grand kids were this much fun, I'd have them first. Have fun and happy Independence Day!

Happy 4th to you too Shipmate. 4th always has a special place in my heart as Great Grandson of William Dawes (Of Paul Revere Fame). I was conceived on the 4th and my son was born near the 4th. Kinda hard to forget. Also had the Great Privilege to Babysit the Dunlap Broadside for the 2 weeks it was in town.

Resistance is futile SSG. It is difficult to contain that kind of news. I remember when I found out I was going to be a dad, I could not contain it either. And the closer it got to the delivery date, the more excited I became.
Congratulations!!! I wish you and your wife, and the approaching newest member of your family all the best.
