If I ever find myself in a situation where I have to injure/lay to rest someone(s) who means physical harm to myself or those near me - and I find myself in a pending legal battle to clear my name after the fact, I think I'll stick with crowdfunding, like gofundme.com, to help pay my legal bills vs paying for said insurance.

I've looked into it before. Seems like a rip off to me. But I think all insurance is a rip off to some degree

As a Platinum Plus Lifetime member of USCCA, I have up to $1.1 million in civil suit defense and damages and criminal defense protection.

How much do you pay for that and have you compared it to other plans that have no limits?

SSG Nathaniel Bendel A Platinum Plus membership costs $30 per month or $347 for a year membership. I paid about $3000 over the course of a year for a lifetime membership, but I am not sure if they are still offering those.

I have compared it to GOLDN. I am skeptical of unlimited coverage, as no one has unlimited resources.

From what I've seen they cover legal fees should you need to defend yourself in court, which can be substantial, especially if you end up defending yourself in civil court.

Google search for Second Call Defense. Also, the NRA has a plan as well that they launched within the last 6 years.
