I don't get it, i thought that as a military force we would know better who to pick as our commander in chief. Yes i do know that Hilary is no better but at least she represents democracy more than Donald trump. Frankly I am disappointed that military picks Trump. Hes no leader, hes a follower, lair and so is his wife. She stole Michele Obama speech and said she wrote it , LIE LIE. I just cant believe what im hearing. Hes arrogant, disrespectful, cheat , inconsistent. America is great all ready and it has been for years. Thats why i came to this country 0ver 20yrs ago but now i kinda want to run away from here. The problem is that racism still exists and it has been an issue for way too long. Its just a sad, sad situation.

I don't normally comment on these posts but I feel I need to on this one. First off for those telling this soldier to "go home" are way out of line in my opinion. He came here to our country and served or continues to serve our country something the majority of people born here as citizens wont do. Secondly for the comment about god being in it. To set the record straight our country was not founded on Christian beliefs as many people claim it was founded on freedom of religion that means each individual is free to practice what ever religion they wish without persecution. We have separation of church and state for a reason. Our laws are not based on Christianity and there is no law that states any government official elected, appointed contract or otherwise needs to follow any specified religion. As for all the comments about Hillary Clinton leaving our people to die in Benghazi let us not forget the multiple requests for additional funding for increased security that were denied by the republicans in congress. Also for all those that blame Hillary for the loss of life in Benghazi do you also blame Bush or any of the Secretary of State's for the Americans killed in multiple embassy attacks while he was president? There were several bi-party congressional investigations on the attacks and in none of the investigations was it revealed that she was personally responsible for not sending support. The Deputy National Security Adviser convened a meeting 2 and a half hours after the president ordered Leon Panetta to do everything to save american lives. As for the handling of classified material on a personal server in all the investigations into that it was found that 3 contained classified material that were not properly marked by the sender, Hillary received the emails, it was determined by multiple security experts that they were not properly marked and many high ranking intelligence professionals would not have recognized the markings as a classification.
I don't really like Hillary however I would much rather have her as president the Trump. For all the successful businesses he has run lets not forget the many time he has filed bankruptcy and the failed casinos he has had. Let us not forget that if anyone does not agree with him or blindly follow him they are fired. let us not forget the Trump University lawsuit that he is currently involved in. For those in the military how can you support someone that is so divisive? In the military we look beyond race, religion, gender. Everyone is equal and treated with respect. Would you want a company commander that constantly belittles, humiliates and degrades people of a different race gender or those with a handicap? I know I have served under many First Sergeant and Commanders that treated people differently based on race or gender it was some of the most toxic units I have been in.

And let's not forget that in none of your examples except for Benghazi did we have ready assets available within minutes who were ordered to "stand down." WHY???

You need to turn the channel. It might be time to outlaw the democrat party. When democrats accuse it’s to hide their guilt. If it wasn’t for racism the democrats wouldn’t have a past or a future. What war didn’t democrats get us into? 911 was Bill Clintons’ Jami Gorelic who prevented the CIA from telling the FBI about the terrorists. No Republicans ever owned a slave. You need a free civics class from Hillsdale College.

Because we don't want Hillary failing to support us in some foreign country, lying to our families on why we died, and then telling Congress, "What does it matter now?"
I'm surprised military support for Trump isn't 20 to 1. Of course, the media could be lying.

As a Marine veteran, who took my oath againt both enemies foreign and domestic seriously, it makes vicerally disgusted to think any veteran could support Trump. I am literally sick to my stomach that people want that scumbag in office... you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Yeah, let's all happily cast our vote for the "really great guy" who said he'd give the military unlawful orders........like intentionally bombing civilians.
He's only been named in 169 FEDERAL lawsuits, thousands of others, and ran away from military service faster than Jesse Owens.....even with a bone spur in his foot, but he can't remember which one.
I'll cast a principled vote for Gary Johnson, and sleep like a baby that night. If you attempt to tell me I am wrong for doing so, you are simply angry I am not agreeing with your choice, so it is YOUR problem, not mine.

SGT Mr Nails I'm not sure other countries consider the parties the same as we do. However in the aftermath of the breakup of the Soviet Union, Estonia elected the youngest Prime Minister in Europe, and he put into practice a number of the ideas of Doctor Milton Friedman.
I think you are wasting your vote, and ensuring a win for Hillary if you vote for Johnson. The likelihood of him winning are about equal to Hillary being elected Pope.

To each their own, Cpl Whitcomb. I would rather a Trump that is driven to succeed and won't take "can't " for an answerve then Hillary that has the blood of Marines and soldiers all over her hands. She has no integrity, no passion for America and has broken laws and rules and feels she is above that trifle stuff. If her staffers had been involved in this email scandal, they would already be in prison, but not Hillary, she is above that. Not this Marine, Loyalty, Integrity, Discipline are not just words, they have a core meaning for the Corps and Country!

Reading further down, Cpl Whitcomb, I see that you fully support the "None of the Above", which is totally honorable. I am struggling with this election year. Trump is not a Republican! Running with their banner does not make him one, that is why those chicken shit heads are constantly trying to remove him from their flock. He has crafted himself so that they have no legal or Party laws that cab remove him. The news channels love to hate him, because he answers his questions, not theirs. He says what is on his mind, not worried about Political correctness and offending an ethnic group. We are adults, we can hear opinions and not have to take them to heart.
You may vote for whomever you please. Make a stand and make a statement! I have a feeling that 3rd parties are going to have their highest turnout year, but even at 23 to 25 %, the 2 major parties are going to take the largest haul. Historically, 3rd party candidates get 1 to 8%, so 20% and more is great odds. Unfortunately, the Electoral College makes the final votest and they historically vote R or D. Just facts.

I had a clearance when I was in and I still have one today.
It is a requirement of having a clearance that you have annual refresher training.
If she did not know that she was doing wrong, then she is an idiot.
If she knew she was doing wrong and didn't care and is now lying about it.
Trump may not be perfect, but there is nothing that the Clinton team has been able to dredge up about his past that makes him worse than she is.
We have come to expect politicians to be dishonest, but the Clinton team have taken it to a whole new level and they are brazen about it. They apparently think that nobody cares or they can just get away with it because they have been getting away with it for so long.
If the choice is down to Hillary or the Donald, it really is no contest.
He looks like an angel up next to her.
I don't know how anyone with eyes and ears could vote for her or defend what she has done.

SFC (Join to see) - I suppose that being granted a clearance must come with the office. That kind of makes sense, from a certain perspective, but they should still be required to take the same training on how to protect the data that they have access to.
I work for the Navy and every year we have to take the training. It is sometimes updated, but often it doesn't change from year to year.
Either way, wrong is still wrong.

Perhaps the problem is that those in elected office automatically receive clearances consistent with their duties. The purpose of the clearance approval process is to ensure that individuals are properly investigated and vetted prior to accessing classified information or performing sensitive duties. Properly done, Neither Bill nor Hillary Clinton, nor Obama would have received clearances by virtue of their many well documented ties to enemies of the US.

Maj Rob Drury - The process, as it is today, is broken. These people should not be allowed to run for office until after they have been cleared. If they can get a clearance, then they can run. Or, if they let them be elected and the clearance is denied, a new election must be held to find a replacement because they can't take office without a clearance.
The problem with the election process is that it was never designed to account for needing a clearance.
When a new employee gets hired where I work, they can't start work until their clearance comes in. Until then, they put them in a cubical farm that is basically a holding space for uncleared and they take NKO (online training) courses.
If the clearance is denied, they loose the job because the offer was contingent upon obtaining a clearance.
It should be the same for politicians. They should get no special treatment.

Maj Rob Drury - I thought liberals progressive were the smart ones and it is facts, since most conservative enjoy the horse goggles and can’t see past their close minded point of views and can only see the finish line by any means and missing on great opportunities left and right. Before you go a start asking the liberals have done so far? Well funny you asked: the 1944 GI bill that conservative love so much is the work of liberals, the FBI and the CIA oops the work of liberals, your free weekends and your vacations so you could spent time with your conservative children also the work of liberals, Family and Medical Leave Act created by liberals, Veterans Medical Care us liberals made it happened and you are not going to believe this one The right to bear arms you extreme right wingers love so much we did that too. Oh here is the big one” The United States Military”, so no matter what close minded right wingers think we liberals are the progressive ones.

1944 GI bill - This was a compromise bill that FDR very reluctantly signed after vetoing the one actually sought by veterans groups and passed by Congress. Even the uberliberal author of the "New Deal" wouldn't let this happen without a fight.
CIA - Started as an oppressive overreach, typical of liberals, this one got fixed through conservative administration and evolution into a true intelligence agency.
FBI - An organization created in much the same vane as the CIA; it never really got fixed, thanks to a history of being run by crooked elitists, from J. Edgar Hoover to James Comey.
Weekends and vacations - Sorry, libs don't get credit for days on the calendar. As for time off associated with them, these are the result of employer caring and compassion (yes, it does exist - quite commonly), market forces, social pressures, and collective bargaining (which is most definitely NOT a liberal concept -- they just hijacked and ruined it).
Family and Medical Leave Act - Disgusting intrusion into the private sector. Helps a relative few at the expense of the rest.
Veterans Medical Care - There's been enough said about this one. If you wanted to make your case, this was a really bad example.

Maybe it is because Hillary has a distain for the militray and has a history of treating military and other underlings like trash beneath her feet.

How about Hillary did nothing to support Benghazi, I mean if her own words 'What difference does it matter?" on the issue doesn't let you know she is not fit, what does?

MAJ (Verify To See) - And don't I know it. Its disgusting that she "sides" with the abuser. Its no wonder that women like me, countless thousands of them, are bullied into not reporting or are too scared of reporting the abuse. The IS NOT a woman who should be in the highest office of the land.

MAJ Charles Blake: "I thought it was clear..."
It should have been; but unfortunately as you know, we have a very different military today. It used to be that an implied, unstated, assumed qualification for military service was an adherance to conservative, patriotic, pro-American, common-sense, sane (all of these are synonyms, BTW) values. It terrifies me sometimes to see the liberal lunacy often displayed on these pages.

Because the Military is growing very tired of not having a clear mission. The world is falling apart with acts of terrorism around the globe while the military leadership is cramming transgender policy down their throats...excuse me for thinking there is an obvious disconnect. Trump will provide a clear cut mission for the military and not confuse the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff with the hotel Bellhop...
