I am currently at Fort Stewart, GA, for some training. Shout out to those Dog Faced Soldiers! But I have been to many bases and I have never heard so many bugle calls in my life, this also includes the playing of the 3rd ID song every morning. I swear I have seen people just sprint off when they hear a call because they don't know what to do. So far I have found that this post does 13 bugle calls. Fort Bragg got nothing on this place.

I had to be at ft. Leonordwood for several weeks before going to Korea. Let's just say I would rather be in Korea.

I was at Ft. Stewart 91-95 when it was the 24th ID and I hated that place. More Army wives screwing around on their husbands than any other place that I was stationed. When I was there....the cheating wives loved Gilley's and Hurricanes.

Camp Victory, Kuwait. I was there from 2004-05 (closed in 2006) and that place was a dump!

I was at Ft Stewart for 4 years and the Dog Faced Soldier song is still stuck in my head. Despite being humid there, I enjoyed living close to the coast and Savannah.

I agree, the humidity is pretty rough. It feels like Louisiana.

Spent 6 1/2 years at Stewart, other than the length of my stay I loved it, was only a 5 hour drive down 95 to my hometown in FL, was close to the beaches and Savannah was only a 35 minute drive away.

Sorry guys the winner is BIOT Diego Garcia. It is literally on the opposite side of the world from the US. Any direction leaving there is closer to home. Yes even the South Pole. Navy and Air Force base
