There is a lot of rheteric on this topic. Unfortunately only historians will truly determine if President Barack Obama was successful or a disaster. We all have opinions. I seriously doubt if anyone on RP will change their opinion concerning President Obama. So, let's let history make the call.

Getting stats from a forward progressive site? Sorry, it does not fly. Check the recent numbers, it put these particular numbers to shame, proving these were just lies, and propped up.

That was actually released by the White House. Are you saying that the president didn't sign such an order?
Wouldn't it be pathetic of you to say that?

WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING:
— President Obama is poised to sign an executive order in Boston requiring federal contractors to offer employees up to seven paid sick days a year, a move that could benefit more than 300,000 workers. The announcement will come momentarily during a Labor Day speech in Boston, part of an effort to push Congress to approve legislation that would provide similar benefits for millions of private sector workers. “The president’s trip aims to highlight a Massachusetts law, approved by voters in November, that provides employees with up to 40 hours of sick leave per year,” David Nakamura reports. “An estimated 44 million private sector workers — about 40 percent of the workforce — do not have access to paid sick leave, according to the White House.”

And this gives the GOP the opportunity to crap on private sector workers, which of course they will do.
You have to be a moron to vote for a GOP candidate - for anything.

"On this Labor Day holiday, American workers who already get the least paid vacation time of any developed nation in the world and who are taking the fewest days off in four decades, must suffer through (or are treated to) the Republican presidential circus of the 2016 campaign, featuring more than a dozen presidential hopefuls who have demonstrated tone-deafness or outright disdain toward labor.
With a crowded field of 17 candidates, the GOP’s 2016 presidential slate features at least two leading Republican candidates who have risen to right-wing notoriety by pushing laws stripping collective bargaining rights from most public employees and another favorite who insists that Americans should just “work longer hours.” And that’s just a start.
So on this Labor Day, here are 10 times Republican presidential candidates have given American workers a giant middle finger."

SSG Gerhard S. - Oh, Lord above. The price for consumers should be set by the cost of production, which includes a living wage for the people who make it available to the consumer.

Indeed, my point is that negotiating a ever higher union wage, the cost of production goes up. Of course those workers who got the artificial wage increase are untouched, and even have greater purchasing power when buying goods NOT produced by those with the higher wages. It is the poor that are harmed by the higher prices.
Regarding your meme above... Can you name anyone in office who have argued that people shouldn't be able to choose the Union of their choice?

If you count looting and burning, yes. His involving himself in race cases and influencing DOJ investigations will be legendary. Sending administration personnel to certain funerals and ignoring others has tipped his hand. He sees racism everywhere unless it's Black on White. 400 Blacks are killed by Blacks in Chicago and he ignores it. His Attorney General described himself as Obama's "wingman". He jumps the gun on cases and takes sides before a police report in even filed. He is a nuisance to order.

Feeling that he had failed to sufficiently address and explain the context of his relationship with the Reverend, Obama began writing the speech that became "A More Perfect Union". Obama's usual speechwriting practice during the 2008 campaign was to discuss major themes with speechwriter Jon Favreau, let Favreau write a draft, and then edit the result.[14] However, on Saturday, March 15, Obama dictated a lengthy draft of this speech to Favreau, who edited the speech the next day. Obama stayed up until 3:00 a.m. Sunday night working on the speech, and continued to work on it Monday and in the early hours of Tuesday. He sent his final draft of the speech to Favreau and campaign strategist David Axelrod.[15] After reading Obama's final draft, Axelrod sent him an email saying "This is why you should be president."[16]

A More Perfect Union (speech) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"A More Perfect Union"[1][2] is the name of a speech delivered by then Senator and future President Barack Obama on March 18, 2008 in the course of the contest for the 2008 Democratic Party presidential nomination.[2] Speaking before an audience at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Obama was responding to a spike in the attention paid to controversial remarks made by the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, his former pastor...

The real question is... Why aren't the Russians and the United States together in the fight against extremism? My enemies enemy is my friend. Extremist islam took root in afghanistan because of our silly squabbles with the Russians. This will be no different.

The Russian problems with extremism are rotted predominantly in Chechnya wherein the common denomintor is also extremist islam. With the collapse of the Soviet Union the problem created was very highly organized crime syndicates. If the same type of events took place in the United States organized crime would expand drastically just as it did throughout the Great Depression. When you take a mans livelihood from him he will turn to almost anything to support the needs of his family. It just so happened that with the collapse of the Soviet Union we saw the primary victims of unemployment in their country were servicemembers and their extremely large intelligence community.
The problem herein is that at this point the people of our nation have forgotten what it is like to be at the bottom of the food chain and the trend of political events and decisions is very similar in some ways to the decisions that the leaders of the other great republics had made to contribute to the downward spiral of there existence. For example the Romans had gotten so comfortable that they let the legions decay on the frontiers and could no longer maintain or defend there territories or people.
Today, we have seen drastic downsizing of our military, certain people wish to share nuclear capabilities with a nation that wants nothing more than the eradication of our culture, certain people began their position of leadership with going on apology tours, and the truth in nature and in life is that if you aren't the alpha at the front of the pack constantly fighting to maintain your position unapologetically you will decay to a position behind and just be another follower.

They need to crush the perpetrators of this crime. They turned a harmless tradition into a vicious and savage event of brutality. Ignorance at its peak within not only one of the finest institutes of higher education but also the institution that we trust to develop some of the finest combat leaders in the world. This is evidence of the sad state of affairs we live in.

I love the idea of having a president and being able to say I disagree with some of his tactics without being executed. With that said he has done a lot for the Civilian job market, unfortunately being a Service member who is married to a veteran I have to say he has done nothing for our Government employees, more specifically the Service members. Our pay raise was pretty much 0 this year and we still have a lot of issues with the Veterans Affairs Health Care system. Watching my husband go through this is disheartening.

Read the U6 report from the Dep't of Labor. Every month we lose full time jobs and gain part time jobs. He has done nothing for the civilians either. There are less jobs for Blacks thanks to all the illegals that he has done nothing about. I have not seen a Black on a construction jobs in years. The old masonry and brick laying firms that were largely owned by Blacks are all gone. They couldn't compete with an illegal paying no taxes and employee costs. There are nearly 50,000,000 people on SNAP. More people are on Disability because judges are awarding it in appeals because they know there are no jobs for people in their 50s who lost their jobs. A West Virginia judge was forced to retire last year because he was awarding it to 100% of appeals because the coal mines are being destroyed by the Obama EPA. Under him EPA keeps expanding its mandate and now is trying to take control of privately owned lakes and ponds.
This is government regulation on steroids.

SGT(P) Crystal Marie Gray-Wallace - "With that said he has done a lot for the Civilian job market" That is not what you said. That's why you were given the source of the U6 to investigate. The "civilian job market" is more than government employees.

Capt Walter Miller Sir, the one problem I see here is using statistics to back the "best / worst" president argument of the POTUS. I would argue its way to early to say where President Obama ranks amongst our previous presidents. While this one statistics absolutely shows the President in a favorable light, one could argue there are several incidents that would state the otherwise.
One example, the amount of involvement of the White House over killings of one race versus another. Now, the media only portrays what they want, but we've only seen the President get involved with one particular race, but not the other. Or, when it involves "criminals" versus law enforcement officers. Would this not make him the worse President ever? I don't know.
Finally, I agree that it's funny when people label the President based on how they think he's doing, when the average American doesn't have a clue the amount of information (intelligence) the President is exposed to and the decisions he has to make, with the advise of his NSA and trusted aides. Not a job for the average American to handle.
Just my thoughts.
