I swear I saw this question come up a while back. I intended to get back to it at a better time. I am trying to find direct contact information for the person/department that handles inputting the PDSI for OPSEC Level II. I took the course last June and still no PDSI on my ERB.

In order to add this to your record, you must submit a DA Form 4187 signed by an O-5 or higher with the following remarks:

1. Request award of PDSI "H1B" (OPSEC Practitioner Specialist).
2. Qualifying Criteria: Have successfully completed the Operations Security Officer Level II training conducted under the auspices of the 1st IOC (L), Ft. Belvoir, VA.
3. Restrictions: None
4. Estimated Termination Date: Indefinite

ENCL:
1. DA Form 5178
2. Certificate of Training

Submit it TO:
ODCS G3 (DAMO-ODI)
ATTN: DAMO-ODI
3200 Army Pentagon
Washington, DC 20310-3200

You must also send a DA Form 5178 for the PDSI itself, signed by your Commander.
Include your certificate of training and submit it all at once thru your S-1. I would imagine they submit it to HRC to forward to the Pentagon.

@SFC Michell,
We tried that as well. The problem is that all one accomishes with this approach is the re-submission of said documentation to the same folks that have already received it.

The H1B PDSI identifier can only be awarded by 1st IO (on Fort Belvoir). You will have to send a them a packet (see their website) and they will update your ERB accordingly.

I went through my branch manager who got me in touch from someone at HRC to get mine on there and they put me in contact with a civilian at HRC. I really wish I had the information, its on my PST and I have since PCS'd and do not have access to it anymore, but all I had to do was submit my completion certificate of OPSEC Level 2 as well as the printout from S-1 showing what the identifier is, HIB, and my ERB showing completion of the course on there.

I wish I kept that guys information I am sorry about that, but like I said, I contacted my branch manager and they pointed me in the right direction. Took me about 2 weeks to get it on there.

I will dig in my outlook next time I get on it. If I find anything useful I will post it here. With any luck it somehow managed to be saved

SFC Christopher Perry I took the class twice in 2009. Once stateside and once in Afghanistan. I submitted the paperwork and the only thing that showed up on my ORB was in the MILED section then it was taken out because it was under 80 hours. There currently is no place to put a PDSI on the ORB that anyone can tell me. So it is a hidden secret that we have it....shhhhhh OPSEC

That is a serious bummer. I don't particularly like hidden secrets.

I called Pentagon G-1 trying to get the H1B added for one of my Soldiers. HRC has a number listed for ASI Code proponet, but no such place exists that I could find, and the number I called for it is not in service. I called and emailed a POC that Army G-1 gave me and no one answered me or returned my email.
I could find no one who knows how to add the PDSI at any level...more to follow.

The table referenced in the DA-PAM had a number listed that I now realize should never have been listed at all. But you know me, I dialed it. The civilian who answered was obviously not real happy that I had run into his number in print was rather helpful. He gave me six different people who work for him. By the time I called these numbers yeaterday it was apparent that he had eaten some butt that is rather high on the old food chain for breakfast. The calls I made may actually make a little headway on the problem, but they may also mean a call to my CoC. As I said, I will share whatever I find because I am aware that I am far from the only one experiencing this particular issue. I would much rather have my tail end in hot water than the folks that work under me. I am old and mean and don't mind a little butt chewing for calling folks in places I should not be calling if it fixes a problem in the end.
