This photo is so strong in many ways. Proud Service members, as all who served. Taking charge of the situation and getting on with it. I haven't seen many photos of the female service member amputees. Yet I know personally a few my self. All have earned the right to be recognized. Don't you agree?

I worked with a female Capt that was in Khobar Towers. The room she was in was on the opposit side of the building so the glass imploded. She was shredded but survived. She'd had reconstructive surgery and a glass eye. They worked on a medical retirement but she fought, successfully, to remain active duty. She was a high caliber woman. I often thought, how would I handle that? I suspect not as well as she did. Coming from a family of strong women I really wasn't surprised by her example. Anyone that dismisses the value of women in the service just haven't had their eyes open to all they bring to the table. When I sit back and appreciate what the military does for me and my family it's completely gender neutral... thanks to all the ladies that have and continue to serve.

Please remember our female veterans; These ladies are beautiful inside and out! All have earned the right to be recognized. Don't you agree?

These are not female Service Members. They are Brazilian models posing for a calendar shoot.

No, Sargent Major that is not what I was implying at all. I would not have thumbs up you comment if I thought that of you. As you will note I've even followed your advice and changed the photo to the one you offered.

SPC Thomas Baldwin It's all good brother sometimes things get lost in translation and I am old and grumpy so that doesn't help.

SGM, your first response was definitely up for misinterpretation. I understood your point but the delivery made it seem like you missed SPC Baldwin's message.

CPT (Join to see) I don't know how you can misinterpret what I said sir. I agree with the point the OP made but, the post should have been changed once he realized that the photograph was not U.S. Service Members. I addressed it pretty plainly and provided the truth, no way to misinterpret what I said.

Thanks for sharing. We often do only categorize and wounded warrior as only being a make Soldier, but that not that case.
