I've always been a proponent of securing those golden bars. You've got the experience AND the degree. Why not? The Air Force would be better off to have you in a leadership capacity --as would you. Congratulations on completing your degree(s). Hats off to you, SSgt Carl Midnightchef Walker!

Go for it! See how the Other Half Live. Air Force has always had a higher quality of life standard and I can only imagine what it is for an Air Force Officer.

Re-joining the Air Force after getting a college degree... any thoughts or suggestions on getting back in?

I recommend to everyone that is considering the military that Officer is the way to go. If you enjoyed as enlisted, it will be even better as an Officer. They have a shortage in Maint. so you wouldn't even have to change career fields. Good luck.

They're opening the OTS pipelines up pretty wide again this year. Visit the AF Reserve recruiter and see what opportunities there are (I'm guessing if you walked in saying "I'm interested in RPAs" they'll roll out the red carpet for you!) :-)

The rumors are true....I did it. Go for it. Yes, others mentioned OTS is your start; if you have a break in service, plan for as much as a year for the recruiter to get you back on duty. Manning is low, and recruiters will grab you fast, surely.

Depends on what your degree is in. I would concur there are option just speak with right recruiter. I didn't and missed out on officer opportunities. Recruiter guide you to what benefits them and don't give you options. You can contact me to discuss.. [login to see] !

Definitely see what opportunities recruiters could give you. If you achieved a four year degree I would imagine a myriad of opportunities would be available. Good luck!
