It appropriately showed the Airmen were not just good but was great and we were blessed to have them on our side.

The movie was very good and gets a 7 from me. Meeting a Tuskegee Airman at a reunion of USS Anzio in Norfolk, VA gets a 10. He was one of the last to go through the training and was never deployed into combat, but he made it and earned the title.

I enjoyed the movie. It actually is supposed to end up being a trilogy, so I guess we will see how it goes. I would say I would give the movie a 7.

Yes. George Lucas wanted to do a test run with Red Tails first and see if people actually enjoyed it. But he had a total of three movies in mind when he first wrote the screen play for Red Tails.

It was a good movie I would give it a 6. I did however like the Tuskegee Airmen better.

Red Tails did kind of remind me of a documentary, whereas Tuskegee Airmen got more into the reality of becoming one of the first African American Fighter Pilots in WWII. It went into the reality of what these men faced.

I gave it a 5. With the big budget that this money had available, I expected a better movie. The older (and lower budget) "Tuskegee Airmen" (that Cuba Gooding Jr was ALSO in) was IMHO a better story.

Not one of his better movies but definitely on the mandatory watch list. From what I read, the movie only touched a few of the discriminatory issues that the Red Tails had to endure. It is amazing that a single aviator ever even graduated from Tuskeegee. I'm sure the director felt too much background info would have made the movie a documentary........ 7/10

Tuskegee Airmen was better as it covered their training at Tuskegee and how they got their start. It then goes to North Africa with the old P40 War Hawks. I have both and I do prefer Tuskegee Airmen over Red Tails.

It was at times perhaps. But in some ways I think it needed to be because no one their history.
