There have been many RallyPoint members who have sought ways to recognize impactful individual service members and veterans who have passed either in combat or after their military career.
It is not practical to recognize every individual with a separate discussion, but we are happy to host those posts on this central thread.
You are invited to post responses here about individual service members and veterans that you wish to honor.

For those brothers and sister in arms who have passed, you are missed. I speak for myself only, but I hope I echo the sentiments of others when I say: We will see you on the other side, take the high ground, and keep your powder dry.

If I may LTC Yinon Weiss, could we have a moderated "wall of remembrance" where RP members could post names to honor our fallen here?

LTC Yinon Weiss, my wife and I attended the funeral of SSG(ret) Adam Lee Gordon on 29MAR15. It was truly an extraordinary service. He was a Christian, and yet the service was officiated by his lifelong friend, a Jewish Army chaplain. The chapel was filled with Soldiers and Marines in dress uniform.
We had known him since he was a young teen, as my wife and children became black belts in karate along with Adam and his sister. My wife and his mother have remained friends.
It was an incredibly sad day.
Requiescat in pace, Adam Gordon.
