San Jose Mayor Sam Licardo blames Mr. Trump for riots, but doesn't address rioters. Should he resign?

It wasn't until after he got the crap beat out of him on Twitter and Facebook that Mayor Licardo posted a statement that blah blah blah ... Prior to that it was all about Mr. Trump's rhetoric. In the meantime, men and women beaten (some were just walking downtown), damage, etc. I should mention that Mayor Licardo has already endorsed Secretary Clinton.

What he should do is apologize.
Those caught assaulting others at a rally should be arrested and charged with appropriate criminal law violations. That said, Trump has encouraged this with his hateful and disgusting rhetoric and shown clearly that he is unfit for the presidency.
I'm glad he endorsed Clinton, she is better candidate, and she has nothing to do whatsoever with the cause of the violence (Trump's rhetoric) or the effect (criminal conduct by those he provoked).

Yet there has been not one case of a supporter of Mr Trump going to a rally held by either Senator Sanders or Secretary Clinton and and pulling the BS these terrorists have been pulling. Where are Senator Sanders or Secretary Clinton calling those people out? Why are they so silent? Their silence is a tacit approval as was Mayor Licardo's obvious bias.

Alan K. They did ... That's the ass kicker! Cops were on ground. Riot gear was available. But the cops did nothing and the Police Chief like the Mayor both came out with statements about the great job the SJPD did. Bullsh**!
