that may be but their are semi auto 249 by company's like mga that run over 8k. and those things are garbage. FN wont settle for a crap firearm.

I carried one for about 2 yrs and the 60 for 1 yr loved them but I am not very excited shooting semi auto and linking it is a pain in the ass

I'm personally not a huge fan of the SAW. And for the price I'm sure we'll have to pay I can't say that I'm terribly interested.

Hell no! Where you going to buy linked ammo? I sure as hell am not linking it myself. Well there is the magazine well. Then it is a super heavy AR-15. I would put this in the Desert Eagle category. Cool, but not necessary. I can see a gun range buying one for people who have not shot one.

Regarding the North Hollywood shootout, I don't know whether they did or not, but that is basically my point. That was in 1997, nearly 20 years ago. It is extraordinarily easy to find conversion instructions for pretty much any semi-auto rifle on the market, especially the AR-15. But, people don't do it very often. Or at least, they don't use them in crimes if they do.

SPC Elijah J. Henry, MBA, well it's safer to say they are not used in crimes very often. A shoulder arm of any flavor is not the ideal weapon to pull off minor robberies and such. That would be small pistols/revolvers and knives.
