Should these recent events disqualify him?
1. He took classified documents and stored them in unlocked rooms.
2. He had dinner with two known antisemitic men.
3. He is now talking about suspending the Constitution.

Should he disqualify himself? In 2020 he said Biden was too old to become President. If Trump is reelected in 2024, he will be five months older than the age Biden was in 2020.

Indictments and Cases Involving Donald Trump

Donald Trump has been indicted 4 times in recent months.

All of the grand juries that decided to indict Trump were are made up of local citizens randomly chosen from the jury pool.

CRIMINAL CASES
Georgia Election Interference (State, GA):

On August 14, 2023, Donald Trump was indicted on 13 counts in Georgia state court, including under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. Eighteen additional co-defendants have been named in this case, including Trump’s former Chief-of-Staff Mark Meadows, and his attorneys Rudy Giuliani and John Eastman. The allegations in the indictment revolve around these individuals’ efforts to overturn the will of voters and invalidate the results of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.

Fulton County Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis conducted a years-long investigation into Donald Trump and others’ attempts to interfere with the results of the 2020 Georgia presidential election.

The indictment was based on the testimony of many witnesses, as well as the written recommendations of a Special Grand Jury, which reviewed evidence and interviewed dozens of witnesses over several months. The indictment focuses on (1) efforts to get Georgia officials to invalidate or nullify the will of Georgia voters, including by “finding” votes that did not exist, (2) the scheme to get 16 fake electors in Georgia to cast fraudulent electoral college votes for Trump, even though Trump did not win the popular vote in the state, (3) intimidating, harassing, and threatening Georgia elections workers based on false accusations and in an effort to influence their testimony as witnesses, and (4) tampering with county voting machines.

Certain defendants in this case – but not Donald Trump – have requested they go to trial quickly, and the judge set a trial date in October 2023 for one defendant. DA Willis has requested that the remainder of the defendants, including Donald Trump, go to trial in March 2024.

You should update this. The number of defamations (now at least 2), arrests (3), and indictments (91?) have grown, plus you can add a fraud conviction (although "liable" might be a better term than conviction).

Definitely no. He is a very divisive figure that is destroying our country. There should be some integrity in the position and he has none.

Absolutely he should run, and God help us if he doesn't win! Someone said he doesn't embrace our value system and integrity........I am still laughing at that comment, so whoever that was that believes "our value system" is a thing, thank you I am almost in tears laughing! Jason Aldean song being called racist, grown men competing as woman, people deciding what they identify with and the rest of us being told to accept that. Please tell me what value system you are talking about? Our country is out of control.

You have mentioned only one value that some people have. What about others? You alluded to integrity but did not give any examples. Perhaps you can stop laughing long enough to prepare a cogent argument.

Yes, I will vote for Donald Trump. Like him or not, America was better with him at the helm. At least, he is pro America and has his wits about him. He has done during his term than crazy Joe. Joe only knows how to destroy America from his cronies.

You bet your sweet a** Donald J. Trump should run for POTUS in 2024. He's the only one who can return America to what it used to be, "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness".

Your question sounds like you get your information from the TV. No, seriously. What do you do to make sure you don't stay biased one way or the other? Where do you get your information from? Don't misunderstand me. I used to be a Democrat but now, recently, I'm the Party of Me and that's because I realize that ALL SIDES HAVE MULTIPLE SIDES. If you stick to that you'll understand how much everybody is being lied to and it's up to you to purposefully arm yourself with the information you need to know vs what they want you to know. A lot of people learn this the hard way and it doesn't have to be like that. You have to work for your information. Don't let them just hand you programming for your own consumption.

For one thing, yes there are racists but Democrats are the worst. The first time I was called the n-word was by a Democrat in 2016. She dared me to think I could leave the Democrat plantation. Yes, the Democrat plantation is a "thing" and it was very difficult leaving it. Trump has his faults but never forget, what they do is they use someone you don't like to implement policies that will affect everyone. Are you prepared to be targeted the same way and using the same tactics that are used against your enemies? I hope so because that's what happens. You'll agree to it only because you don't like the person until it happens to you. It happens all the time. That's how it's done. You just keep that same energy when it's your turn.

Remember that time when Trump said, "if you don't vote for me, you ain't black."? Sounds bad doesn't it? Well that wasn't Trump, it was Biden. Biden made a remark about black kids rubbing the hair on his legs like roaches. He also stated he didn't want his kids to grow up in a racial jungle. Do you know that white Liberals are the ones who "dumb down" their speech when they talk to black people? How many Democrats and Liberals do you think have been caught calling black people the n-word?

If you are choosing sides, you've already lost. I hope you'll reevaluate where you get your information from and broaden your sources. Do what I did and try to understand where others are coming from. Look at things from other people's point of view. Why do the people you disagree with think the way they do? Join groups of people who think differently than you. It has to be a very purposeful effort. Look for commonalities instead of differences. You'll find that we all have more in common than not.

Your tags include the word racism. Do you know where it came from and who started the idea of race? I hope you look into it because it's very enlightening. Did you know that the KKK had two iterations and the first one supported black people? Which party first elected black people to hold office? Where do you think the KKK hoods came from? Did you know that a Democrat helped dedicate the Confederate statue in Baltimore that was removed for being racist? Do you know who was the first to own slaves in America? Your question isn't just a question. It's divisive on its face.

I was initially offended by your response, but I was unable to glean your points as I read on and just became puzzled. So, I will respond in the order of your questions and comments.

I get my news from a variety of sources: television (including conservative; liberal news makes me cringe); newspapers (liberal, conservative, and in between); analyses that I find on the internet; occasionally opinion pieces, but then I research to learn the truth.

The first time I was called a racial slur (yes, white people get called those, too) was in my decidedly Democrat neighborhood. The first time I experienced racially motivated violence was on Martin Luther King, Jr Day 1969 (same decidedly Democrat neighborhood).

I agree that Biden has made some incredibly thoughtless comments (that sometimes make me gag), but I would bet that (insert President’s name here) has also made bonehead remarks.

As far as choosing sides, do you understand the concept of voting? Because that’s precisely the definition. As far as joining “groups of people who think differently…,” I did: the US Army.

I haven’t done much research on the KKK because the group and its ideals repulse me. However, your comment about supporting Black people intrigued me and I decided to look into it. I did not see anything other than the intent to subjugate former slaves and other Blacks, but now I want to vomit, so thanks for that. I do know quite a bit about Black slavery, including how it started in the colonies. However, the topic is not one on which I dwell.

SFC Kathy Pepper - Of course you were offended. I, on the other hand, can never be offended. This is something people choose. Yes, you choose to be offended so you can also choose to not be offended. This is why I arm myself with knowledge.

When I mentioned sources, I mean include sources you don't agree with. It's always helpful to understand where people are coming from and to examine things from their point of view.

I remember something I learned as a little girl: it's not what they call you. It's what you answer to. Do you answer to the slurs? I sure don't.

Yes, Obama has said bonehead remarks, his sidekick as well, also insert any name you wish. It has happened and no one is immune.

Yes I do understand the concept of voting but is that as far as you go? You might want to dig deeper and see why we had DEMEXIT. Remember that? That was when millions of Democrats left the party in 2016, including myself. What I've learned is that Democrats and Republicans play a role and it's up to people to recognize this so they won't be fooled. But suit yourself.

The Army? Really? I mean seriously? You have to be kidding. Is that it? Of course it is.

Your very welcome for the vomit. You really do have a weak stomach if that can make you sick. You should work on that. There's a lot going on that requires people to have a strong stomach and I see you aren't one to be relied on for that. Thanks for clearing that up.

I dig into things, especially difficult topics, because I want to know the truth and also want to be as helpful as possible in supporting solutions to problems. You can't possibly do that by getting squeamish and vomiting at the sight of mere words. The world needs strong people to help solve the world's problems. There's no room for weakness.

Are you always so sanctimonious? Sure, I was slightly offended at your initial sentence, but the rest of your post rambled so much that I was barely able to glean any meaning from it. It was almost as if a child had commandeered their parent’s computer to make nonsensical posts.

Apparently, I was too subtle when I pointed out that I think nearly everything in your previous post is a lie. You faced racism only eight years ago? I believe that IF you are 12 years old.

Based on your most recent response, it appears that you think the best leadership is a smug, condescending android with absolutely no feeling for one’s fellow human beings, rather than someone with the compassion to be sickened by the ill treatment of others. Okay, then. Good for you. If you truly “want to be as helpful as possible,” then don’t patronize others’ whose truths don’t line up with yours.

Since you are apparently incapable of actually reading and accepting my comments, never mind being capable of responding coherently, I shall bring our discourse to an end. Out here.

Sanctimonious? Your original question makes you sanctimonious so back at you. I’ve read through your comments to others and, yes, what I thought of you still stands...especially with this last reply.

So now I’m a liar? Really? Instead of debating the issues, you call me names and run away like a spoiled child? At least now I know what I’m dealing with. But of course you couldn’t debate the issues. You vomit at the sight of mere words so there’s that.

READ WHAT I WROTE. I did not say I experienced racism only eight years ago. Stop putting words where they don’t belong. What you think in your mind and what I actually wrote are two entirely different things so try again.

I can show you what a good leader is better than I can tell you...and you don’t appear to be it...not even close. That’s just based on your words alone, without me even meeting you. It’s extremely unprofessional to call someone names just because you disagree with them or don’t like what you read. I know you probably got a tummy ache so maybe you need to go drink some water or something.

So there it is. Now she shows her true self. Hope you feel better though.

In my opinion the country needs younger candidates to run for the office of the President. In my opinion there should be a age limit for people that want to run for a political office.
