Should these recent events disqualify him?

I would vote for him again... IF he is the nominee.
I don't think he will be, so I'll worry about it when the time comes.

Thx for your question. I do not know of a single politician, much less a single human being, that does not have skeletons in his closet. If then I believe this and then choose someone as if I am more worthy, I speak from a point of judgement. I too then will be judged. Therefore, I cannot choose anyone from a moral point of view. Instead, I must decide from a policy point of view.
Trump has made countless mistakes, and there are many things personally that irritate me about his behavior and his character. If I were to base my sole decision upon those attributes, I might vote for someone else. He has accomplished a great deal for the citizens of this country. His policies---not all of them---worked! I enjoyed better VA benefits, lower taxes, border protection, lower food costs, lower gas prices, the non-weaponization of our law enforcement and even our soldiers (I felt safer and freer).
There are no perfect candidates, and the greatest benefit we as a country experience is the freedom to think and choose as individuals. Group-think is a great tragedy: A soldier in once-Communist Romania was thrown into prison for his misdeeds alongside a pastor incarcerated for his faith. Naturally the pastor asked the soldier if he was a believer. But when the soldier replied, tears welled up in the pastor's eyes---the soldier saying, "I will believe if I have orders to believe." That is perhaps the saddest thing I have ever heard in my life---a man who was no longer able to think for himself.
I respect any man's choices if they are his, even if I may not agree with them; but a man who cannot make a choice of his own free will, is already dead in his soul.

I particularly like your comment about being judged because you have a judgment, because I have seen that far too often on this forum. I have said many of the same things about Trump that you did; however, I do take exception with “…non-weaponization of our law enforcement….” Both law enforcement and the military were called upon to forcefully disperse peaceful protestors during 2020.

1. This ruling cannot be retroactive as it was made in 2020. According to the Constitution, You cannot rule on or make an ex-post facto law and then prosecute those before it. Thank God, because chances are, you and I are in violation of one or more Federal rulings right now. Where was the scrutiny with 0bama? How about Bill Clinton? Biden? And yes, what about Dubya?

Are He and I, like some of you, stuck in the loop? My New question is this... "Out of 334 million people in the United States, You mean that these two Jackasses are the best we have to offer? Trump or Biden? Freaking Really?"
Have we, the American Society degenerated so far that we are willing to accept the mediocre so long as "My Side" stays in power?

I am not out to make this another place that people can slam each other over who they feel is ideal.
However to address some of your concerns:
1. He took classified documents and stored them in unlocked rooms.
I am not sure if you have the unlocked rooms totally right, but they certainly were not in locked file cabinets that they should have been. His overall thought process on Classified, Sensitive and Official Documents makes one wonder if he even understands why documents are labeled at certain levels. If any one left the military did the same thing they would be recalled to Active Duty to face court martial and be serving jail time. So on that point alone, I feel he is not fit for serving in any office ever again.
2. He had dinner with two known anti-Semitic men.
This alone is only being shared in the news to create more news for him. Their has been many current and former elected officials that have had meetings with people that would be very questionable. Does that in itself disqualify them from serving in office? No I would say as unless you can connect this meeting to some type of promise or deal then it merely was just a meeting.
3. He is now talking about suspending the Constitution.
This one certainly is a disqualification for anyone that makes even comments to get rid of the Constitution. This document is the only thing keeping this nation from having a monarchy or being overthrown by some group.
I always tell people to vote to the person based on their beliefs and values and do not make a choice based on what your family, neighbors or friends tell you to do.
We are still a free nation and we still have the right to vote.

I am so late to this party....Well coming from a devil dog who once idolized Trump. I used to travel the 6 miles walk from Whitehall to Fifth Avenue at least once a week. That tells you I am from across the river (Shaolin).
A few things have turned me away from Trump.
1. America is not first to him..
2. He started the build the wall campaign which started the influx of the migrant crisis south of our border.
3. He got the intel on the Covid19 novel virus; he did nothing to stop the spread until 1 million deaths later.
4. He made a deal with Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, and Israel but left out HAMAS a deal called the Abraham Peace Accord. What we have today in the Middle East is a war between Israel and HAMAS. One can not broker peace between non-enemies and leave out the real enemies.
5. He broker a deal with the Taliban and left out the Democratically elected Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, and refused to do a proper turn over before he left office. What we have is the Taliban in control of Afghanistan.
6. As commander in chief he lied that a sleepy old man stole the election from him and allow a coup d'etat to usurp power.
7. Trump simply lacks wisdom for a commander in chief and president of America.

To put it simply, I do not trust Trump who kisses up to Putin, Kim Jong Un, and other dictators. There was a time when soldiers recognized that these authoritarians are inherently evil to our great country. Our job was and still is to protect our great nation from want to be kings. I still believe in the American principal of all men/women are created equal, and I bow down to no man, only to God.
