Why?...let him communicate with the people of the U.S.A. Through all media, he should not be restricted. It was the Democratic Party that first uses the internet and social media to communicate with the Younger generation to ncourage political activism, so again, why should the current President be censured from using social media to get his thoughts out to the general public. You should always use the tools available to you to accomplish the (mission)/job.

It would seem there are those that think when you become the leader of not only our nation, but of the free world, loses his 1st amendment right when he puts on the mantle of the presidency. Well, regardless, I may be more cautious in what I say, but then, I didn't beat a bunch of losers and win the top job either. Get 'em President Trump. always hated the New Yorker attitude, now it's growing on me.

Nobody thinks when someone becomes president they lose their 1st amendment rights. However, when one becomes president, a certain level of class, dignity, respect, and humility is expected.

Shouldn’t he be running the country rather than running his mouth? He is the President and should, at least, attempt to act the part. His obligation is to ALL Americans, not just those he cherrypicks.

More Trump Derangement Syndrome at work here.... Snowflakes and the LameStream Media all butthurt that his message goes directly to the people, and the LameStream Media don't get a chance to twist it, and only report certain parts of what was said. He should no more give up his Twitter account than those whom I disagree with on here should leave Rallypoint and/or all other social media. Equality means Equality for ALL, not just those you like or agree with.

No he should not be forced to give it up! IF freedom of speech does not apply to the POTUS then it does not apply to any American! does he post some dumb rants yes are there some I like yes. you do not have to agree with his possition but denial of his freedom is as wrong as denial of our freedom as an American. ALSO he is not a Professional politican there is going to be a learning curve here be patient and focus on the possitive accomplishment he has already achieved for the USA

The President of the United States should be able to talk directly to the citizens of this nation without the MSM's disgusting slants, filters, extractions of text and commentary any time he pleases. Do some of his tweets seem less than appropriate? Yes! And I have no problem with that at all, one of the reasons I voted for the man is because he is NOT a politician and I thank God for that! How many times have any of you found yourselves listening to a lot of double talk from some politician, be he running for office or the CEO of the company explaining why your job is no longer necessary? Anyone here actually believe what a politician tells you? The real question is why we keep voting for these idiots in the first place, what are we doing, voting for the guy that lies most poetically? Get a grip people!

I don't think he should give up his account. I do think he should be a little more careful in what he puts on there, though.

I believe most of us agree with that, particularly supporters of the president. His dark staters love it as it is, gives them ammo.

PO3 Bob McCord - Her recidivism and lack of personal accountability...(go hand in hand I suppose) are the stuff of legends.... but fortunately Hilary..like all legends.. is now a subject for the history books.

PO3 Bob McCord - I didn't know that. Why is it that the right is always so afraid to point out the darker truths about the left? I suppose this amounts to a rhetorical question. Whenever we point out the truth a whole bunch of LieISM's come in the right back atchya dept. We need to stop being afraid.

Please note that he's referring to the 2012 election. And as always, his facts are ass-backwards: President Obama won the popular vote by a lot....4,982,291 votes. I guess Trump's Tweet is just another "alternative fact". Incidentally, his Tweet also implies that the 2016 election should have incited a revolution as Trump lost the popular vote and won the election.....and there's zero proof of three thousand, let alone three million fraudulent votes by illegal aliens.

That type of comment, by Trump, is why I don't follow his tweets, or listen to anything he says. I can't help but apply logic to the comments too and because there is little or nothing that can be done about the cognitive dissonance it highlights, I prefer to ignore it and bide my time trying to figure out if there is some way the two major political parties can be persuaded to support viable candidates next presidential election - part of that being to dispense with the effort to create political "royal familes" who we are supposed to believe are worthy of inheriting the right to political office.

I believe the CORRECT answer should be:
* It IS his 1st Amendment right,
** He does NOT sound Presidential when HE uses it
*** No, he is an adult and it should not be TAKEN AWAY
**** YES, he anyone that works with him should ENCOURAGE HEAVILY for the good of the country and his presidency, he should ACT LIKE AN ADULT and stop tweeting like a TWIT!

I respect the office of president, I believe this MORON is degrading it with each half truth, bully, degrading or outright LIE he tweets!
