Please do not comment if you are still serving in the Military in some capacity; a/o where potentially your job, livelihood, or position could be at risk.

The military was the first to desegregate in 1947, and throughout my career was a wonderfully raceless organization, either jungle green, haze grey, sky blue, or orange and white. Whatever the rest of society was doing, we demonstrated what was possible and preferable. Once you have gotten close to combat, color doesn't make any difference, if it ever did. CRT is pouring poison into the well without purpose.

Raceless? LOL You mean back in the day when every thing was segregated and all othe higher ranks were only white men? You mean when women who served were not considered veterans? You mean when a person was gay they weren’t accepted in the military. You mean back in the day when “men” fighting on the front line were provided hookers on there down time. You mean then.

Soldiers volunteer to serve God and Country. Professional soldiers know right from wrong and should be held to a high standard. The military is highly disciplined and defend their fellow man from evil. American Soldiers are a cohesive branch of men and women with the same goals and purpose. Racism should never be tolerated and individual cases should be dealt with within Commands. By the same token, stop shoving the bullshit of any theories to the masses and hold individual’s accountable for their conduct. Weed out your soldiers that don’t make the cut regardless of their identity.

Our military is a reflection of the society it defends. Politicians and leaders can change the military to reflect their beliefs or preferences based upon what their constituents desire. This is the current situation that our military is going through at the moment.

You Sir are absolutely correct.....the current administration is using our military to further their views and beliefs and forcefully use the military to change the attitude of the world's population !!

I volunteered to serve my country. I did not serve for anyone's god. In fact, I left god out of my oath of enlistment.

I believe that the folks who initiated and pushed CRT are/were wrong by saying that previously taught history was incorrect and they want to set the record straight. Tearing down statues that were placed by citizens who felt the represented person made a positive contribution is not the right course of action. Most of the people who push CRT suggest that "If you don't agree with us, you are a racist person."
To say that people like Thomas Jefferson was an evil person is just so wrong.
Finally, CRT is wrong and should NOT be taught to anyone, especially the military.

Is this a serious question? If so, which constitution did you swear an oath to? Anyone who thinks CRT is a good idea doesn't understand their history and is confused about their allegiance. SMH

No. CRT has been politicized to ridiculous levels. That should translate to the military branches staying as far away from it as possible. We already have a course that taught unity and working together, it's called basic training. Atleast we did until the snowflakes started crying about the drill sergeants saying mean things that hurt their feelings.

No we should not be teaching anything based on politics. CTR teaches Americans are guilty of racism of other Countries such as Britain and Spain prior to 1776. What happened after the stars and strikes or hoisted we own and are responsible for in history. But CRT, BLM and the left want to blame Americans for all Racism all the way back to the Egyptian pharaohs and Jews. Horsecrap it was the British empire in Spain then brought slaves to the America’s and Slaughtered Thousand. But America is to blame for everything along with European Americans. Dose CRT teach about the British Empire and the China tea company which was a front for slave trade NO! It’s America’s Fault screw CRT and the leftest America Haters!

Simply out. I believe the classroom is to learn, be educated, become a better person. While some things have a place in the classroom, others don’t.

Personal beliefs, politics, or attitudes have no place in the classroom. History, ethics, civic duties do.

My hometown that I grew up and lived in for 32 years. When I speak/post about these issues it’s from real life 1st hand experiences.

https://youtu.be/BGG6z0oZ4V8

We grow up in the Midwest learning about economic and political racism in Milwaukee, WI.

I left in 2001’ because of 9/11 and told everyone I wasn’t coming back to live there and meant it.

2.) Blockbusting :

Blockbusting. Blockbusting refers to the practice of introducing African American homeowners into previously all white neighborhoods in order to spark rapid white flight and housing price decline. Real estate speculators have historically used this technique to profit from prejudice-driven market instability.

CPL Gray: I also grew up in Milwaukee, WI…likely a few years before you were born. You are right about the crap that has gone on in this country for WAY too long. I have witnessed it and actually involved in trying to stop it. Like you, I found that the military exposed me to lots of cultures that are different from my own. My father was a Milwaukee Fire Fighter when I was a child, and he held some very bigoted views of black people. I heard about it for the 18 years I lived under his roof. 10 days after graduating high school I was on an airplane to Lackland AFB, TX. While on active duty I lived and worked with black, brown and white people. I learned from and later taught those same folks and folks just like them at the college I taught at.

I did something about the bigotry I was raised with and am a better man for it. That said, I know there are many, many folks who are “melanin-deficient” like I am that learned about people as people. As a clergyman, I was greatly inspired by Dr MLK, and my history shows that. CRT takes what Dr King died for and turns it on it’s head. That is the beginning of my objection to CRT. I would be honored to communicate with you off-board so I can learn more about you and your experiences. Truly!

I appreciate you sharing and extending the olive branch. We can speak off board.

This isn’t being rude, condescending but factual, the following isn’t just a reply to yourself …. It’s for all who’ll see this :

I post and speak of historical RACIST FACTS, not “theories”. I won’t degrade nor allow others to refer to historical FACTS as theory for their comfort & peace of mind. If we are to reach across then the conversation is to be factual and not one of comfortability, revisionist rhetoric.

MLK isn’t the benchmark of the American experience, he’s used as the marker in a “blinders viewpoint” of “CRT” and not of “Critical Race Facts” …. Huge difference.
