Please do not comment if you are still serving in the Military in some capacity; a/o where potentially your job, livelihood, or position could be at risk.

CRT is just the application of Critical Theory to race. All that critical theory does is say, "Do you want to know the history of an issue in America? Then study the history of how the two opposing forces interacted with each other." Put another way, Critical Theory is a fancy way of reminding yourself that there's two sides to a story, and CRT says that, if you want to understand the history of race in the US, then you need both stories; Robert Lee and Robert Smalls.

So, should we teach CRT to military leadership? Why would we want our military leaders to better understand the impact that history has had on the development and experiences of their troops, as well as how those experiences could impact how their troops interact with each other? What, are we trying to make sure our military remains the most effective, most professional, and most adaptable military in human history?

Oh, wait; we are? Oh, then by all means; teach Critical Theory, CRT, and let's throw in Intersectionality while we're at it.

I’m not sure what the bastardized definition of critical race theory is but the actual definition is used in parsing information from literature, is usually taught in universities, and has little to do with racism. If we are trying to be aware of issues of race then those issues should be addressed with reasonable solutions however, all this banter regarding CRT is generally uninformed, misguided, and irresponsible.

We should teach HISTORY as it actually occurred per good & credentialed historians. Let the chips fall where they may.

Simply put, No! Furthermore, the upper echelon, those who are pushing it, should do I the right and honorable thing and resign immediately.

CRT is a specific view of history through a lens not normally assigned to it. In addition to reporting what occurred 200 years ago, we now add a value judgement on those actions based on the perceived value system of today. Yes. Owning people, randomly slaughtering people, persecuting people is bad, thank you for reminding me. But, the military tradition is one of being merit based and color blind, and that began long before it became popular and even trendy like today. I vote no.

CRT is a course designed FOR and taught IN law school about how laws and the justice system is designed to be unbiased but is full of bias, BOTH ethnicity and class.
CRT IS NOT ABOUT SLAVERY OF ANY TYPE.
THIS is WHY taking something out of context and trying to apply it DOES NOT WORK and is just plain stupidity.
Example:
Casandra Brené Brown is a PROFESSOR who has a show on Netflix regarding her perspective about shame. In the show, she references 'The Man in the Arena' as an argument for her POV.
The problem:
'The Man in the Arena' is an excerpt of a speech that Theodore Roosevelt gave in France during a world tour in which he is actually shaming the French for allowing their birth rate decline.
MY OPINION:
YES, the ACTUAL CRT class would be beneficial to the military in understanding how ethnicity and class bias happens in a system that shouldn't have it, and the military should not have it yet it does in fact exist.

Critical Race Theory is a misguided ideology. It doesn't take into account that we're all human and seeks to separate us based on superficial differences. As such the theory threatens to destroy the strength we have in unity.

history should be taught the goid and the bad. I am white, I feel no guilt over anything whites in the past or now did or do, Its their guilt not mine. If some people of color hate me or are angry at me cause of what ither whites did, thenvso be it, the majority are mot, and understand that not all whites are guilty in the past or now. It is history past and present. Uglier in the past but racism still exist, systemic racism still exist and there is still white privelege, the good ole boys white club still exist and under trump it became very in your face that it is alive anscwell, it catered to andcdtill does to aryan nation militias, white supremacy groups, and the rich white elite. these sre facts, these are current history, to bury, rewrite or ignore past wrongs will doom all of us as a nation to fail to grow past it and only to continue to repeat it. It is not “critical race theory” It IS HISTORY the UGLY history. You can just “ehitewash”it and pretend all was and is golden and no wrongs occurred. That would be s lie!!
