Should we remove combat patches to be sensitive to those who don't have them?

F THAT!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS? What kind of question is that? they earned them they wear them. I'll be damned if someone removes my awards and acheivemenst

if you earn an award, let's say MOH. You can't display it because everyone does not have one? Everyone does not get a trophy

That is stupid in my professional opinion. Soldiers should wear what they earn. That goes for everything earned. They shouldn't take that away from their troops!

This generation of new Soliders needs to toughen up! I would gladly give back my tours in combat to have the time with my family!

Pretty excited that my retirement orders came in last month. New Zealand seems like a great place to live.

I'm retired Air Force but as a Loadmaster I spent most of career working with other branches and I even pulled a joint-service assignment. I won't proclaim to be an expert in AR 670-1 but I don't believe a Brigade commander can arbitrarily deny unit members from wearing the SSI-FWTS since the AR specifically says you can. Even if he/she has the authorization, what's the point of denying its' wear. I'm pretty sure a few soldiers have ARCOMs, MSMs, Bronze Stars and maybe even a Silver Star. Do you tell them they can't wear their medals because the FNGs don't have any. While you're at it, remove the TIS and TIC hash marks. There used to be a time that rank has its privileges but now, everyone has to be equal.
