With the recent amount of stolen valor it is hard to keep up with all the different threads being posted here on RallyPoint. From this point forward if you have a stolen valor question, comment, and or post, then add it here. The posts that currently exist will stay, as we don't want to lose the already existing discussion content. If you have started a stolen valor post prior to this and wish to have it merged to this one then feel free to let me know and I will merge that for you. The initial post will be gone but the discussion content will be merged to this posting.

Really, just sad if he earned any of the medals...please read the AR before assembly...just follow the AR.

Could he even read???

Just a field day.....on the wrong field! I have been out, for 32 years, so memory of what is what, seems to fail me. Like the name tag. Maybe he should have taken the time (if he did serve at all) to look it up, before disrespecting the uniform, and it's wearers.
Looking at the picture you would have to start at the top and work your way down. There are so many errors and mistakes of AR-670-1 it's disgusting! Someone needs to rip off every bit of the front of that uniform and burn it!
Besides that out of reg moustache, how about that name tag, what is the red rope, aww, I'm done!
PO1 Ken Johnson
Maybe he got the Red Rope from a Navy Boot Camp Drill Instructor (if they still wear those??) That was what they wore instead of the SMOKEY BEAR hat...
I think a better question would be what did he get right?
Seriously, can no one Google this stuff?
I understand jacking up the uniform in eighties and nineties when there weren't 47 websites devoted to general military knowledge and Google image search, but now?
