The Chinese want gun control in the United States....do you?

The Chinese state-controlled Media is calling for gun control in the US. I'd like to hear your thoughts on that. Personally, my first thought is that if our Government keeps growing our debt to China, it would sure make calling in those markers easier for a country that surely must run out of real estate one of these days.

They're just pissed. They've been that way ever since Obama's first ammo restriction dried up the sales of the cheap, crappy SKSs they were dumping into our gun market!

Norinco, a Chinese ammo company was the largest importer of the cheap 7.62 round fired by the SKS. Do you recall the recent attempt by the ATF to ban 5.56 because they contended a 5.56 pistol could be made, and thus the 5.56 being an armor-piercing round could be banned as a "cop-killer" round? Well, the same fate befell the Norinco 7.62 SKS round, however, in a maneuver to maintain Most-Favored Nation status for trading purposes, China wisely did not contend the categorization, and the SKS ammo supply dried up like a desert creek bed. So now they are stuck with their cheap, crappy, little assault rifles, and it's cheap, stinky, ammo, and the only market that willingly demanded those products voluntarily shut the door!

It is not about the hunting and criminals.
