Yesterday, Hitomi took me to the Pima Air Museum here in glorious Tucson. It's directly behind the Davis-Monthan AFB (the A-10 Graceland). For all you military history and aviation superstars, this thread is for you. I'll post them, you identify them. Extra points awarded if it was your aircraft. The rules are simple, there are none. Enjoy. Uncle Mark

You read my mind! They actually had a display there called "Carriers in Space" and had this exact model and of course the classic 80's style Galactica!

This is a F14 Tomcat in the colors of the VF111 Sun Downers. I spent 4 years in Vf111 flying f8s then F4s. I was a FRAMP instructor on the F14 while serving in VF124. I made the 1985 cruise on the Connie in VF21 flying the F14. I didn't fly them I maintained them.

SFC Mark Merino, these are some of the pictures that I took at the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) museum last year.
You may be wondering why Darth Vader's helmet is on display at the WSMR museum. A lot of sound effects for Star Wars - A New Hope were recorded on WSMR. Darth Vader's helmet was given to WSMR as a token of appreciation.
