Yesterday, Hitomi took me to the Pima Air Museum here in glorious Tucson. It's directly behind the Davis-Monthan AFB (the A-10 Graceland). For all you military history and aviation superstars, this thread is for you. I'll post them, you identify them. Extra points awarded if it was your aircraft. The rules are simple, there are none. Enjoy. Uncle Mark

SFC Mark Merino, I never static lined a C-47, but I did skydive from one a number of times!

SFC Mark Merino I had four kids along so I didn't. Good side to that I guess, is that it leaves me something else to see next time I'm in Tuscon!

Awesome place. Last there in 1992. Should plan a trip back. My Naval Aviator uncle was there last spring.

He flew two types of carrier based reconnaissance aircraft, one being either an A6 or an A7, another recon jet (maybe a 111 ?) and eventually the P3. He applied for and joined Eastern Airlines just before they went out, but left them and joined Tekronix, Planar and KBR. He is a 75 y/o Vietnam Vet near Portland, OR. He left the Navy as a CDR and retired. He would have made a good CAPTAIN, but he wanted a change.

SFC Mark Merino the other visitors to that place had no idea that they were in the presence of greatness...the Most Influential Man In The World.
