There appears to be no option on the RallyPoint profile for "prior service". I see only civilian or veteran.

There appears to be no option on the Rally Point profile for "prior service". I see only civilian or veteran. What selection should I make on this site?

SGT Mark Seymour If you had prior service, you are a Veteran.

So long as you were discharged honorably or general under honorable conditions.

SGT Mark Seymour, click on the arrow to the right of your name in the upper right hand corner. Go to settings and then down to account types and you should be able to make the appropriate selection.

If you served on active duty and do not have a discharge under other than honorable conditions, you are a veteran.

Eligibility for some veterans benefits is a different matter.

Are you currently on active duty? Did you receive a honorable discharge? If I'm not mistaken prior service means, you were AD got out then went back in.
