We have seen many things about our POTUS that many do not like about him, and while we have all had leaders we did not like, we could usually pick out a few things, or traits/characteristics you could use or emulate.

So, list the things you do like, keep it professional as always. What did momma say? "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say nothing all."

I'll start:
(1) President Obama broke the racial barrier. He earned an education, became a Senator and a lawyer and is now the President.
(2) He has given millions a hope that one day they can do something great, especially those from under privileged areas.

(3) He has largely supported the military until as of recently with the downsizing, which is inevitable in every decade, our leaders have to make cuts...we keep only the best and brightest, right?

(4) He is a very supportive husband and father, and we need strong father role models in today's society where fathers are as rare as a long term-marriage.

I believe he honestly wants good things for America...I don't necessarily agree with the way he is going about it.

(5) He authorized the killing of Osama Bin Laden.

I know there aren't many fans on RP, but if there is something you like, share it if you dare.

He did Drake the barrier of race, as far as Presidencies. I think that he is a good public speaker, I also think the removal of don't ask don't tell was a great step forward. In off the top of my head that's all the positive I can think of.

I served under Carter, Reagan, Bush I, and Clinton. I would have resigned my commission if I had to serve under Obama. Seriously.

Well I'm a conservative not a democrat or republican. With that said there is a few things I like about him.
1) whether you agree or disagree with him, whether he and others are telling the truth or not, they are going to follow through with their decision on domestic issues. I don't agree with none of the domestic issues, but he will follow through.
2) I like it how he took it to the terrorists years back on that boat and smoked everyone. I got to admit, I would have reacted sooner, it was a complete shock.
3) I like it how he drones everyone that he can. He needs to do more though :-)
3) sorry guys I don't like France, they are a bunch of socialist freaks. So I like how you He disrespected France by not showing up. That was a very good decision.France was warned about terrorists in 2001 and they chose... Wrongly.
4) he was supportive and getting OBL.
I really don't think even Slick Willy would have tried to get him. Because of Slick Willy we had 911 when he refused to get OBL in the nineties
5) sorry can't think of anything else.

sorry if the post is a little to direct, with my injuries I can barely type and I have to use voice recognition on my software, and still makes mistakes.

SSG(P) (Join to see) provides a list of things that he finds admirable in President Obama and, sadly, I cannot find one that I would agree is true. Yet, he has challenged us to find something, anything that we might find positive in this man or his Administration. I must commend the SSG for his courage in raising the question inasmuch as he expects little support and indeed, gets little.

I wish I could find something, anything, but will have to admit failure.

When candidate Obama promised "Change" I hoped for a change back to the America that existed before the progressives took command of it. To be honest, I had little hope because he spoke as a progressive.

When candidate Obama promised "Hope" I lost all because he was hoping for equality of outcome while I hoped for equality of opportunity and an end to the ravages of political entrepreneurism that has wounded the American economy.

When President Obama came to office, I thought that although he demonstrated no discernible qualifications for the position, at least his inauguration would signal the end of racial discrimination. Sadly, race relations have worsened so much that polls now indicate that Americans of all races despair of any healing in the rifts between them.

Sorry SSG. I have failed to meet your challenge...
