Walmart has instituted a new corporate policy that bars its stores from selling semi-automatic AR-15-style rifles and semi-automatic shotguns that have a magazine capacity of seven shots or more. The chain denies politics played a role in the decision. Seems political to me.

I saw an article that said they will only sell hunting rifles and shotguns, no semi-automatic weapons because of diminished sales. Not sure it's political; More like a calculated business decision.

If Wlmart Gun Sales sales were down with their mass buying power to get manufacturers to sell them the most guns at the cheapest price, it is because they did not gun enthusiasts selling their guns who were knowledgeable and motivated, like the guys/gals you find at your local family owned gun store!

How many shotgun shots do you need to get a bad guy. If it take more than seven shots you are either a lousy shot or they are superman.
Why do you need a war weapon in anyhow. I agree they are fun to shoot but every Tom, Dick and murderer doesn't need to be able to just go to the neighborhood store or gun convention to buy one!
