US Border Patrol backs down from participating in UC Irvine job fair when students protested it as a 'human rights violator'. Good call?

UC Irvine is the same University that garnered national attention March 3, when The Associated Students of University of California supported a resolution to ban the American flag in some spaces on campus because it represented “hate speech” and “made people feel very uncomfortable and unsafe.”

Ridiculous. Backing down shows them as weak and this is what is happening in our society today. We need a strong leader.

I wonder when not being offended became a Constitutional right? Strong leader...what is that??

CPO Andy Carrillo, MS, it's the students at UC Irvine that have the problem, not the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Bunch of kids with putty for brains and they mold them in the Libtard way. Kinda like BMTS when they indoctrinate you into the military. University campuses are turning into basic training for the liberal PC acolytes!

CPO Andy Carrillo, MS CSM Michael J. Uhlig Sadly, while I support this as the right decision to avoid protestors at a place and time of attempting to gain good candidates, I am disturbed at the number of people who are so misinformed. The "haters" have no idea what laws are enforced by whom and what laws are not being enforced due to Executive branch policy and guidance. The United States Border Patrol is a legendary law enforcement organization and any one would be lucky to work for them. The US BP is also an integral member of the Homeland Security team and makes a valiant effort to stop or at least slow the tide of drugs and people illegally coming across the North and South borders of the US.
