I started my own property service company this past March. I’ve not even managed to add it to my profile, but this type of work falls short of the three different MOS’s I managed to perform while active duty. So, I have to say NO.

What i do now ia not exactly the same as my military days. But it is close and i use a lot of military knowledg to do my job. Now I spend more time interpreting government security regs to civilians. Which is much like hearding cats.....high on catnip.

I was Supply in the Marine Corps and now a Human Resource Specialist in the National Guard but I don't do none of these job in the civilian sector. I'm a computer programmer analyst and wish it was something that I did while I was in the Marines.

Cpl James Waycasie: I don't think that the good Lord would be gracious to you; were you not so deserving.

I did some DOMEX style defense contracting for a few years. I found it difficult to be away from the military after I first got out, the second time I got out it was a little easier, but the contracting weened me off it. I just left all that to go to college though, we'll see how this turns out!

I absolutely am I am still in a recruiting capacity and with my new job I still work with Veterans so it continues on. I still get to talk daily with my brothers and sisters in arms and I would't have it any other way.

Nothing even close, got out of the air force in 92, got a job in a factory for the next 14 years and then went into the coal mines. Best job since the military!
