What are some of the best name combinations you came across while serving?

I knew a Soldier  with the last name Major and he was a sergeant, so when someone would call his name SGT Major, Soldiers would go to parade rest or the Sergeant Major (E-9) would turn around.

While I was on head count I met a SFC Barney Castle.  And I currently work with a SGT Koch (pronounced Cook).

A SGM told me when he was a 1SG he had a famale soldier with the first name of "Shitoya" which is pronounced shi-tonya.  If you look at the name you can easily say something else.

When I was with 3rd Bn 5th Marines in Iraq in 2003, as an Army Civil Affairs Officer - I knew a SGT Cherry, who was assigned to 3/5.

When the Marines left, and I went to Ramadi - I worked with a Major Hope.

I met the following US Airmen in Iraq - Major Clutter and SSgt Snoozy;

and a British Army Officer that I know LtCol Jamie Balls.  Jamie stated that when he went through the British Army Officer school --Sandhurst--, he was known as "Coxswain Balls..."

I had a BN CDR named LTC Mister, which is humorous because he will be Mr. Mister when he retires.

This one's not military, but still a good one: My daughter broke her arm while I was stationed at Rock Island Arsenal, and the Orthopedic Surgeon who did the casting was named Dr. Bone.

Exact circumstance happened to me.  Kind of messed up a good thing when he made Staff Sergeant.  SSG Major just didn't have the same ring....

I went to airborne with a private named Bigmedicine. With a name like that I wouldn't be surprised if he sold drugs.
