For Instance:
"I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think"

[Forrest being interviewed on the Dick Cavett show]
Forrest Gump: In the land of China, people hardly got nothing at all.
John Lennon: No possessions?
Forrest Gump: And in China they never go to church.
John Lennon: No religion too?
Dick Cavett: Oh. Hard to imagine.
John Lennon: Well it's easy if you try, Dick.

SGT (Join to see), Good thought provoking article. Thank you. Many Germans carry unnecessary shame for Hitler and his agendas. I think the film "Fury" was great at showing how savage even Americans had could become. WWI and WWII were pure nightmare. The flower of French youth erased in 4 years 1914-1918. Soviet women age 18 were marrying Soviet men in their 50s in the aftermath of WWII because multiple generations were erased.
I think more focus needs to be spent on the human toll of the 20th century.

LOL. I can see we are having problems this morning. That's how I felt just a minute ago when I was supposed to transfer a call and instead, hung up on them. Bahaha. This is my Monday!

Here is an old one but a good one from First Blood
Trautman: You did everything to make this private war happen. You've done enough damage. This mission is over, Rambo. Do you understand me? This mission is over! Look at them out there! Look at them! If you won't end this now, they will kill you. Is that what you want? It's over Johnny. It's over!
Rambo: Nothing is over! Nothing! You just don't turn it off! It wasn't my war! You asked me, I didn't ask you! And I did what I had to do to win! But somebody wouldn't let us win! And I come back to the world and I see all those maggots at the airport, protesting me, spitting. Calling me baby killer and all kinds of vile crap! Who are they to protest me? Who are they? Unless they've been me and been there and know what the hell they're yelling about!
Trautman: It was a bad time for everyone, Rambo. It's all in the past now.
Rambo: For *you*! For me civilian life is nothing! In the field we had a code of honor, you watch my back, I watch yours. Back here there's nothing!
Trautman: You're the last of an elite group, don't end it like this.
Rambo: Back there I could fly a gunship, I could drive a tank, I was in charge of million dollar equipment, back here I can't even hold a job *parking cars*!

“Now I want you to remember that no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country.”

Ronald Spiers from "Band of Brothers
"The only hope you have is to accept the fact that you're already dead. The sooner you accept that, the sooner you'll be able to function as a soldier is supposed to function: without mercy, without compassion, without remorse. All war depends upon it."

First I want to say that Sgt Fulgham-Blais, you are absolutely stunning in your profile pic.
Ok with that out of the way, my response.
"Jesus Age Christ. Pvt Pyle why is you foot locker unlocked?
Pvt Pyle, If there's one thing in this world I hate, it's an unlocked foot locker. You know that, don't you?
If it wasn't for dick heads like you, there wouldn't be thievery in this world, would there?"

"Queen Gorgo: I am not here to represent Leonidas; his actions speak louder than my words ever could. I am here for all those voices which cannot be heard: mothers, daughters, fathers, sons - three hundred families that bleed for our rights, and for the very principles this room was built upon. We are at war, gentlemen. We must send the entire Spartan army to aid our king in the preservation of not just ourselves, but of our children. Send the army for the preservation of liberty. Send it for justice. Send it for law and order. Send it for reason. But most importantly, send our army for hope - hope that a king and his men have not been wasted to the pages of history - that their courage bonds us together, that we are made stronger by their actions, and that your choices today reflect their bravery."

SGT Veronica Fulgham - Blais - Queen Gorgo had some of the best lines in that movie.
Queen Gorgo to King Leonidas "Come back with your shield, or on it."
TSgt Hunter Logan - Great quotes. The poem by Chief Tecumseh from Act of Valor is also one of my favorites.

Sandra: How do you know they'll be back?
Todd: Because they're soldiers, Sir. Like me.
Sandra: Why are they doing this?
Todd: They're obeying orders, Sir. It's their duty.
Sandra: Do you know how many there will be?
Todd: Seventeen more, Sir.
Sandra: Oh my God, you can't fight seventeen more on your own, you have to organize us. We're not cowards, we'll do as you tell us, we'll fight.
Todd: No.
Sandra: Why not?
Todd: Soldiers deserve soldiers, Sir.
Sandra: But one soldier, against seventeen. What are you going to do?
Todd: I'm going to kill them all, Sir.
