Ok so everyone has heard about goofy interview questions like "What is your ideal job?" or "What is your biggest weakness?" so what is your experience and what answers (hopefully good ones) did you give.

PO1 Ernie Foster - Awesome! Back in 2000 during the dot com boom I was recruited from Booz Allen (suit job) to a hacker company and my first assignment this guy some up to the customer site with horns coming out of his forehead. I pulled him aside and said maybe you should take the horns off while we are at the customer site he said "The horns don't come off." I about crapped myself right there. I lasted 3 months before going back to Booz Allen.

SSG Pete Fleming I am happy I could make someone laugh. If you only knew how close I come to that. My wife has always said my biggest hindrance to success is my "brutal honesty".

Cpl Brett Wagner You gotta take the long view and work the percentages. If your big mouth gets you out of more shit than it gets you into, then you are ahead.

The question I hate most is "why should I give you this job?"

The answer i give: something about my relevant experience and the army gave me good values that make me a strong leader and hard worker

The answer I want to give: why the fuck did you give me the interview for it?

Q: Why Do You Want to Leave Your Current Job?
A: I think that can be answered best with the question of why would I want to work for you?

If you were heading toward Rhodesia in the 70s it was.
Probably on the Black watch application also.

Hi, Corporal Wagner.

For a job at Booz Allen Hamilton right after college, the interviewer said "I want a cow, sell me a pig." It really had nothing to do with the job for which I was interviewing, he just thought it was a good question. The answer I gave required me to ask him why he wanted a cow. If he could define his parameters and requirements for a cow, maybe we could find a way to do it in a cheaper, smaller package.

I really wanted to say "I'm all out of cows, how about this pig?"

Don't know about tough, but one of the stupidest questions I was ever asked in an interview was "Can you give any examples of where you have demonstrated "diversity" during your career?" I thanked them for their time and got up and left. I figured if "diversity" was one of their main concerns, I didn't want to work for them anyway.

The one that I had fun with is, "What is your biggest weakness." I responded by saying, "I have a hard time not working during my lunch."
