What are the best excuses you have heard for people not joining the military?

The dumbest thing I have ever heard a potential recruit say, well, that would have to be: I have bad knees will I have to spend very much time on them? He was talking to me shortly after I got out of the Army after my first active duty tour. I punched him in the mouth, of course.

"I don't like people telling me what to do"

Conspiracy theories on the left are plausible and never called out .   Let those scurrilous Republicans take the fall since we all know they want to starve people and oppress Illegal Immigration, err Undocumented workers.  LOL,   does anyone here still believe in Santa Claus.

I always like hearing, "I'm thinking about joking in the next month or so."

I am like, "really? That's cool." Then abruptly leave before they can engage anymore.

My son Erin Aaron did not like his name. His mother named him. He has never had any discipline. Went bankrupt. I call him wimpy
