What are the certificates that are worth points both on PPW and ERB?

Sounds like you are asking which 40hr or 80hr courses are worth promotion points. You can find this answer if you go to HRC and click promotions and go to the promotion info link right under the sergeant by name list. If you click that you will see a link that shows resident courses yes/no. This is an updated list of all the 40/80 courses by name and with the code which will show yes/no if it can be added to your ERB for points. Also if you go to the same promotion info list you can click a link at the very bottom that says technical certs. This will show a list of technical certs for your branch and MOS that the army recognizes for 10 promotion points a piece. You can have a maximum of 5 tech certs and they go under your civilian education on ERB/PPW. The certs varies by MOS so look for the check mark under yours to see if it counts. Hope this helps.

SGT I know that COAs are work 5 points each for promotion from SPC to SGT. There are lots of awards that count for points on the PPW as well. I believe you have to go to S1 and give them a copy of your awards and COAs, and they'll upload them into the system for you. It usually takes 3-5 days for them to show up on your PPW.
