What're the prerequisits to go to Airborne? I just landed a 68X slot with a SFG Support Battalion and it's an airborne slot, as required of everyone with the SFG. I've tried researching the prerequisites for Airborne (i.e. Chapter 5 physical, flex arm hang) but am not finding anything consistent about the ACFT or APFT. Has anyone recently been sent to Airborne, or is going to airborne that can clarify? Do you do the APFT or ACFT prior to going to Airborne? If so, what're the standards? The most recent I found was APFT 60 pt standards at 17-21 y/o level. Thank you.

Hey CPL, did you manage to get a slot yet? I graduated a few weeks ago, my unit required me to have 60+ on all APFT events before going to Airborne school. At the actual school my company did not do a PT test, get to the school and expect to run all day and you will be fine.
