The UK never needed the EU. It was the other way around. I guess we'll see how the rest of it plays out.

TSgt David L., I am reminded of a headline in British newspapers in the 1930s "Fog in channel, Continent cut off".

I have an idea that the Brits will come out on top of this.

I was surprised the UK joined the EU in the first place. When I was stationed there, in the late 1980s, it was almost unthinkable that they would ever give up their sovereignty. I think they've made the right choice to leave.

MSgt Richard Rountree, agreed. External control by unelected leaders generally galls; this has not changed over the past two and a half centuries.

Volatility in the coming days will make tactical changes in your asset allocation a gamble. I'm sticking with my strategic allocation plan, moving new cash into sectors that are down to keep me my plan on track. Whatever your strategy, execute it with discipline.

Grrrr...yep, me too. Glad it's a long-term strategy. Sure makes me hot under the collar to watch it too closely.

What am I going to do? Maybe go to Great Britain on holiday. My dollars will purchase more and I suspect there will be some great parties going on.
