It's sucking this generation deeper into the technologic world where phones are distracting them from maintaining awareness of their surroundings and own safety. I've groups of kids walking in the middle of the streets with their heads down unaware they're in the road. As a hospital security officer I've had a kid wonder into to ER and roam the hospital unaware where he was when stopped and questioned. These augmented reality games are becoming more popular and I'll admit I played niantics AR game Ingress but they need boundaries as far as where tasks and missions will lead individuals. I use to see people access MCRD San Diego on family/graduation days just to gain access to certain game objectives when they would otherwise have no base access authorization. I see these games will only cause legal and health risks if individuals are not cautious and familiar with the area they play in.

Once again we are blaming the game rather that the misuse of the game.

If the game is really that intense that people can not play it safely it needs to be corrected. If people are just being so stupid they need an education.
