Dickson County public schools in Tennessee has elected to ban all flags after a summer of controversy with the confederate flag. All flags would include "Old Glory".

I'm sorry what country is this school in? Who do they say the pledge to? (oh yeah they don't say that anymore.) Where is their pride in being American? I would question their loyalty to the nation...

your not getting it at all are you, not even a little, our countries GDP has nothing to do with education budgets, conservative budgets do, conservative states like texas teaching creationism over evolution are the problem. The fact that conseratives do not see public education as important. Your comparing our massive country to countries the size of north dakota, its not even a viable comparison.

LCpl Mark Lefler, we disagree. Budgets have nothing to do with performance in U.S. schools; you could double the budget without improving performance in the slightest. Our problem is a defective educational system that is being run using a failed ideology that has never worked.

Systems in other countries get superior results to ours with half the budget we spend on education.
