What can you do or say at Basic to ensure additional smoke sessions?

I thought this would be a good way to add some humor to the discussions list.<br><br><br>Things like...:<br><br><br>- Simply ask "Why?" for anything.<br>- "That was easy." after getting smoked<br>- Complain about the heat/cold<br>- Touch the campaign hat.

We we in quansut huts in AIT at Ft Leonard wood in 74. It was 3 barracks buildings one latrine building and one shower building per platoon. It was a cold trip to the latrine when the drills woke us us. so some of us would pee off of the deck at the back of our barracks before getting dresses. One morning I was the last to finish and I felt a presence behind me. I finished peeing and turned around to see DS Brock, all 6'4" of him. he asked me what I thought I was doing. "Taking a leak drill sergeant." There I was , in my underwear at O dark 30 doing push-ups. In addition it cost me a weekend of CQ runner. Knowing what I know now, I imagine he and the other drills had a good laugh about it.

Using your best ventriloquist voice say "you can't smoke me Drill Sergeant" They love that.

Nothing TR 350-6 no longer allows "Smoking" Soldiers, its not my regulation but its a regulation all the same.

That's when you tell the soldier they need to do their part in maintaining the Earth's rotation, and to push the Earth. They aren't being smoked then, they are keeping the rest of us from floating off in to space when the Earth slows down.

We had a R-MA who couldn't stop smiling for some reason. He would be an hour in to extra discipline and he's have this creepy-ass grin on his face like nothing was happening even though he was sweating so hard it looked like someone was pouring water over his head.
It was eerie.

Just about anything, as we are all aware, will get you smoked! I left the top button undone on my jacket, out of uniform, push! Our really dumb move was the barracks wide pillow fight just before lights out. Drill sergeant Sergei smoked us until he got tired. And he didn't tire easily! Barracks got destroyed as well. Bad move!
