Crash and burns: a reference to Naval aviators. Crispy critters: what was left of aviators when us Corpsmen got to them. .

Snake eater, Army, Green Beret, Ranger
Marines, Gyrene, Semper Fidelis
Navy, Bulkhead, Hatch, Deck.
Air Force, Strack, Prop blast.
Hell if you leave them in a group, you will come out with Master blaster, Deck Hand, ground pounders, OOrah, and anything that is pronounceable. lol

After reading some of these comments it took awhile to find that Head was mentioned and it was by an Army person and not a Navy or Marine. I still call it that and have been out since 1983. And for you Air Force people, that is the latrine and not that round thing on top of your shoulders. Have a great day people and have some fun with this, you earned it. =) Doc Gilly.
