I'm hearing/reading people saying "I'm old school, therefore..." So out of curiosity's sake, where is that ever-moving line?

When you turn around in the enlistment line and tell the guy behind you how tougher it was when you joined

My 1SG used to sound off in morning formation with 1 of the following:
1SG: What the fuuuuuuuuck! Company: WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUCK!
1SG: Get it up Company: GET IT IN!
1SG: First in Company: LAST OUT!
1SG: The SGM told me some of the military spouses were complaining about our sexual cadence so this morning for PT where gonna run around his house and do it there.

These were fantastic moral boosters and I can't imagine they would 'fly' in "today's" army.

Old school, white t-shirt, black spit shine boots. 1958 h- suspenders and mag pouches for M-14. Field strip, blind folded, an M-14. Breaking starch twice a day as an instructor, then having an E-7 or 8 tell you that in the old days it was harder.

Do you know what a blooddocker is and why they suck? If so then you too may be old school.

If your PT uniform was a white T-shirt, fatigue trousers (OG-107), and combat boots (black). Also, all your LBE (TA-50) was cotton canvas and you wore a steel pot.
