All my time was during peace, but I liked board games like chess and backgammon when not chasing skirts. lol

SFC Mark Merino As long as you weren't the reason everyone had to attend mandatory training, you're ok.

At home I have 3 kids, so I get no leisure time. But at the moment, I spend my time at the gym and playing far too much Diablo 3.....

It'll be a couple months to fruition, but I'm developing a new 2 player game that you will be able to play from anywhere in the world via the net. It will be called SMF Acey Duecy and is a variation of backgammon that I learned to play many moons ago, if you want to keep tabs on its progress and be one of the first people in the world wide leader board, follow this link to my site where you'll also find a wide variety of the classic arcade style flash games as well as a section of support for military/veterans & families...

Life is not life if we do not learn how to balance, Family needs their time, work needs its time as well as we need our time. What good it will be that we accomplish all we want in life but never separated time to pay yourself. Be responsible, be a father, be a friend but overall be yourself.

My favorite leisure time...at Ft. Stewart, GA, my roommate and I were both SCUBA divers. Every time we had a weekend where we could pull a pass (and a few that we couldn't) we were Southbound to Florida to find a new (to us) dive site. I was there for just over a year and got in over 100 dives.

Well lets see, there was always an IG or state UQ inspection to prepare for (the fringe benefit of being in a small state). Then there was the annual updating of the DD-314s and the wire maintenance. Cleaning out the commo cage always got us laughs. But THE event hosted by our AGRs was the seemingly endless reallocation of office space. Yes you'd walk into the armory and find your office has been reallocated and your stuff moved to a broom closet. Then 2 months later your office has been moved to the server room. AGRs LOVE f--king with M-days especially when you outrank them.

I've heard of it. It's this mystical moment in time where your Expediter doesn't know you finished your last task, and they are still making the rounds giving out another set of taskings and has yet to get around to you.
