I love Key and Peele, so seeing President Obama "use Luther, his anger translator" was pretty awesome.

When you're the President, there should be a night where you can poke fun at yourself and colleagues, especially when they make your job no easier than it isn't........so BUCKET!!!!!!!

I am not much of a political guy, don't claim any party affiliation and I thought it was pretty funny. A lot of the content was beyond me because I don't follow politics closely but I loves me some Key and Peele and when the angry translator bit came on I laughed, I also liked that the President went angry himself at the end and the translator bounced. Pretty classic, the whole thing reminded me of a pretty tame roast.

What did you think of the 2015 White House Correspondents Dinner? Did the jokes go too far?

I honestly found the humor refreshing with how far the media has put him under the microscope. None of the jokes were anything I haven't heard from other people just rephrased. I think they could have been funnier if humor was the goal.

I didn't see him so much as laughing at himself as much as he was laughing at the American people.

I didn't watch, but on the news this morning, Obama was making a joke about how good the economy is now. He told a joke about a lady having millions of dollars and now she lives in the desert in a van. Everyone roared. I saw it as making fun of homeless people, which, of course, includes veterans. What are your thoughts?

I think the bit about the living in a van was Hilary on the campaign trail.

I didn't catch that. I'm old and slow. Thanks, for informing me. I guess that is pretty funny.

Why are we worrying about whether the jokes went too far? Did we worry about that for any of the incumbent's predecessors?

I wouldn't say I worry about it; but I do pay attention to what goes on, I really don't find these events as being productive, regardless of who is in office. I find the fact that our debt has doubled in the last six years to be worrying.

Not really. His jokes were edgy, but that's what makes them so good. I watched the whole speech and I found it to be very funny.

Too bad it is all staged and poorly delivered. Leave the jokes to Pryor and the Wayans.... that right there is a war crime.
