We can do both, with ease. Oil companies don't need tax breaks; income "earned" solely from the manipulation of money & stocks should be taxed at the same rate as money earned from honest labor; and a more progressive tax rate should easily meet these needs and still have some left over to keep our bridges from crumbling. Maybe even hire some teachers and keep some schools running.

I know, I know, crazy talk.

Look to the leadership for that answer. We here on RP would surely prefer that they care for our veterans. The leadership though, I hear them saying help the vets, but their words are louder than their actions.

That is so so very true. They make sure there pockets are well taken care of before they take care of any business and it always seems our vets get short changed n the end.
